As title states does any of you have tips for someone new to streaming.
Give me something to watch other than you sitting in a chair blank faced and unshaven (99% of all failing streams). You don't have to wear a clown costume, but you'd better be able to speak/be funny or say something occasionally that is going to make me/anybody watch. Tying it into a Youtube channel with guides/montages/whatever else is WoW related is also going to help sell "your entire package" to your audience and make them go to you than some other jackass.
You have to also be at LEAST "good".
Keep toxic trash off of your steam and don't associate with them.
Unless you are trying to sell "whinny angry person" as the theme of your channel... just don't do that and keep it positive.
Could you give us the link of your Twitch channel?
Difficult to give tips if we can't see what could be improved
1st tip - most streamers (like 99,9%) are bad in all aspects.
2nd - are u sure u can be that 0,1%?
PS: I used to think that bloggers are cancer nowadays, but no, now it's a streamers.
Solid PC setting and strong internet conection..
But AsmonBold has succes with toxic strategy.. But ofc, he definetly know what he doing and how he act..
Asmon is putting on a show tho specifically catered to what he knows works... if it started to fail you would see a totally different show from him.
1) Stream because you like it, and think it's fun. No ulterior motives.
2) Be consistent. Even if you have very few viewers. Don't call out lurkers. Let people chill.
3) Be unique, be it gameplay, content, or personality.
4) Get lucky.
It's basically all about those factors. Consistency is important if you wish to grow as a streamer. Remember, Rome wasn't built in one day. Most big streamers streamed for years before blowing up.
You don't need to be a god at games to be a successful streamer. If your "skill" isn't at the level where your content factor could revolve around pure gameplay, then make it about something else. Personality, unique games, comedy etc.
Don't stream WoW if you plan on making a career out of it. Seems like the popular WoW streamers are set in stone and WoW is just going downhill.
Do something new. Don't copy the meta.
Get your cock out as much as possible
