Any horde interested in an 80 only ICC25 heroic raid?

In case anyone who wasn't in the Thaddius group was wondering why we wiped on him, here's a screenshot :p

Just a suggestion, you guys should use the current gear that the raid has it makes it more challengeing and fun. i think it's a great idea what your doing, but if you steamed rolled ICC 25 man herioc in under 40 minutes that sad :(


Like using ICC gear for ICC.
 
The ICC25 was really fun even though it was faceroll. I found it entertaining to see how fast we could clear it and what mechanics we could bypass (which was most of them :p)

You're welcome to try set up a raid like you described, but theres a few problems with doing so:
- Finding 25 people with the appropriate gear (or at least a full WotLK set) and the motivation to raid in it
- Making sure people don't "cheat" by equipping 409s when you're not looking to top the meters (and what happens if someone does this which results in a kill?)
- What rules do you set for enchants? Profession bonuses? Reforging? Mastery? Consumables?
- A lot of the class/mechanic changes have made some classes overpowered regardless of gear (Herald of the Titans is a good example of this, we 5 manned it last week)

I understand now, i didn't think of those negatives. But still it would be fun reliving old content with the app gear, then again their's molten wow. Good day sir.
 
Sorry for the long delay (had unforseen RL circumstances and other stuff to get done), but the videos of the ICC25 heroic raid are finally up!

The entire clear took just over 40mins (bosses are at normal speed, trash at 2x, and travelling/waiting/RP at 4x).

In case you're wondering what happened on The Lich King, the Remorseless Winter from the 2nd transition phase stacked with the one from the 1st which quickly killed all the ranged who were DPSing the boss. It also bugged out the timing which meant we had to stand in the AoE for a short time after the platform disappeared.

Thanks to everyone who attended, I really enjoyed the raid and hope you all did too. We might do some more like this in the future but we don't have anything planned yet.
