Any horde interested in an 80 only ICC25 heroic raid?

We're organising a level 80 (Horde EU) raid to ICC25 heroic raid next Saturday (20th) starting at 20:00 realm time!

Everyone is welcome to join (just reply to this thread if you're interested), although raid spots will be prioritised based on gear if we get more than 25 signs.

You can use any items (including the 409 MoP blues) as this raid is just for fun.

Loot will be set to Need Before Greed and no achievements or infusion quests will be done during this run.

No voice chat or experience is required since we'll likely just end up zerging each boss, but we'd prefer it if everyone was familiar with the tactics for all bosses.

Flasks and food will be provided, but bring your own consumables too if you can

If all goes well, the raid should only take 1-2 hours but please allow for up to 3 (we won't continue any later than that).

I'll probably be recording the entire raid for a Youtube video and we might decide to treat it like a "speed run" to see how fast we can clear it (if we get enough people).

Can't add on openraid because (1) I'm still alliance and (2) I have to log in wow to add my character and that's a 2 hour queue.

I've also been finding people in-game and via forums, so don't worry if the OpenRaid roster looks a bit empty.

Let's see, Saurfang has 43 mil in 25HC. If 20 people do 100k+ dps, that's a 20 second fight. But yeah, if its a speed run then that also makes sense.

i did 300k dps on my 80 mage on saurfang we know it is easy but this is for fun.

Spoken to the GMs of <Chilli Con Carnage>, <We are Legendary> and <Rebörn>, all of which have shown interest. Those combined with <Legacy> and the individuals who have posted on here/OpenRaid or talked to me in-game, a full 25man raid is looking very likely.

I've been thinking of a few ideas for things we could do if ICC only takes an hour or so and people still want to raid.

One thing I have in mind is we could go to Naxx25 and split up into 5 groups of 5 to clear a wing each at the same time. That would probably only take 10-20mins but would require that everyone isn't saved (which we can't guarentee since this raid is for ICC). If we can't do it this week, we could always try organise it for another time.

Other ideas include: RS25 heroic (depends on save), ToC25 heroic (depends on save), see how much health we can get off Sha of Anger before we all die (depends on his spawn time), or world PvP (attacking the alliance Pandaria city or just outside SW).


Also, if anyone is able and willing to record gameplay and then upload it to me so I can include multiple points of view, please get in contact with me

I think anything intended for level 90 is out of bounds as casters will have 5% hit chance. Why are we so gimped in this sense..
