Am I drinking too much water?

Mrcer

OG
I drink 1-2 Gallons of water a day plus plenty of ramen(the extra water from that). I started off only able to drink half a gallon of water a day but now It has become a lot easier to consume that much water and I'm starting to notice that as each week passes I am able to consume more water than I could in the past.

Could this become a problem?

[sup]Yes, you can get water poisoning, but you would have to drink like a gallon in a minute or something ridiculous like that from what I've heard.[/sup]

I thought my screen was zoomed in lol xD

I dont chug the water or anything, I sip it every 2-3 minutes. I go through a gallon of water pretty fast tho.

The average amount of water a human male drinks per day is 3 liters, which is less than one gallon. You are drinking 2-3 times the average amount of water someone usually drinks. Peaple who are more active physically or sweat alot need more water, but if ur sitting around not doing much of anything then this is way too much water to be drinking per day. However, getting water intoxication requires ALOT of water, peaple often get this when they consume alot of water very fast, and since you are putting all this water into ur body throughout the day slowly I dont think you will get poisoned. However, I would cut down just a little bit to be safe.

It greatly vary depending on the person.

But remember, drinking water is really good for your health. The limit is really high, so I wouldn't care much about it.

That said, if you drink endlessly from 8am to 10pm, you're gonna be in some serious problem.

You are drinking too much water, so much that it is unhealthy. Cut down to one gallon at the most, since that is what the human being is supposed to drink each day.

As a natural bodybuilder, I have no problem consuming at least 4 litres a day. More If I am running a ketogenic diet. Having said that I am 104kg morning weight, carb depleted. And lean.

you can drink more simply because your stomach expanded. Cut down on the consuming and your stomach will contract and leave you full from consuming less

fun fact: competitive eaters drink a lot of water to expand their stomach to the extreme to fit in lots of hotdogs before a competition

Squirtle cant be wrong when talkin bout watar

another thing i should mention is that you should not eat ramen if you are serious about becoming an athlete. As a relatively unathletic football player nutrition is important to me so i know a little bit bout it. YOu should not eat ramen as it has little nutrition bad carbs and lots of salt. You should try to eat lots of peanutbutter sandwiches (with not much jelly and on brown bread) and also go to GNC and pick up protein shakes. If you need energy you should try eating oranges. And drink lots of water but dont force mor ethan you needif you know what im saying. Obviously you should mix it up like pastas with eat sauce (chicken is the best). But just not eating ramen should cut down how much water you consume. If you lift and run 4-5 days a week you should have a six pack and be hug ein no time. Last year i was a 140 sophomore now im 175 as a junior so it works. And eat alot cuz if you work out enough you will not get fat. +

What I will say to that is. LOL.

It also will depend on the climate and altitude you live. Obviously dryer climates and higher altitudes will necessitate more water.

Lol, are you a college student? Why so much Ramen?

And yes, if you're actually worried about the extra bit of water you add to Ramen Noodles potentially pushing you over the edge in terms of consuming too much water, you're probably having too much.
