Hello, My name is Jack otherwise known in-game on my new 80 UH dk, Hardclassqt

I have recently Dinged and slaved through the zone named vashj'ir and have built my self a ok set of gear, 301 Ilvl to be exact (With Wf shoulders on)

But ever since i have dinged, I have been plagued by the scroll of Resurrection, losing most and every bg because i am the only one with higher than 285 ilvl. What i mean by that is people do like 20k damage and manage to die 13 times :( since i don't have a guild to Que with i decided to post here.

Meh, the prot paladins annoyed me more than you did, but honestly that resto druid on your team was the only reason you won (or more specifically, my team's useless habit of ignoring it whilst yours tunneled me like i'm a fucking damage magnet)

Oh also, don't use xoxo. What are you, 12?

Sorry, I am used to the 85 arena community. I keep forgetting i am on a forum rather than my Real-id in game. Sorry to come across badly. Like i kind of have a lot of people who i used to play 3v3 with that have a over the top personality like myself, and there is not many ways you can put that across in a game.

I lvl'd my toon 5 days ago, and we won all Bg's...

I think goes like this:

US - Alliance wins most if not all games
EU - Horde wins most if not all games

And yeah go alchemy, that way you can slap 1 more cata epic gem there. If it wasnt for 40 min queues on US side i'd be all over 80 bracket. Here's to hope SoR will bring more players :)

More undergeared players that I can grind, I'm all for that.
 
Yeah, i see more under geared players on the horde. And by this i mean 0 gear at all, But i see more better geared people in premades as well on the horde side ^.^

Yeah, planning on doing so. Im playing on a realm were a top pve guild (Like racing to world firsts) controls 90% of the ah including the herb market, but when i move realm. if i find a guild. I will level then since paying upwards to 13-14k from 0-500 Alc is a bit horrid really :(

First few weeks yes, but more players (albeit undergeared) means more pops, which means more honor for them that leads to better gear. Much better than 40 min queues with low population. Everyone started at one point, nothing is stopping them from getting better gear through JP conversion. Being undergeared is relative term which can be fixed rather quickly with fast cata queues nowadays. Today's noob might be tomorrow's legend.

Like i understand what you mean, Like we all started in greens. But most of the twink-info users generally get at least 30k Hp before queuing into battlegrounds, and its only a matter of doing 1 throne of the tides and 1 BRC and getting lucky for most ^.^ Its just that people just want to pvp, and when wrathful is 'harder' to obtain than brutal, it means it hinders others game play massively :( Like i dont mind in wsg if 1-3 players have bad gear, but when it gets to the point of having 7/10 people with literally 0 gear. There is not much point playing.

also is there any cata gearing guides around? Since i have been asked by a few people in my battlegrounds for help gearing, so i do a few dungeons with them. But they really don't know what to get, like i link them a chardevs, but most of them are new to twinking in general and would like to see a list sort of thing :) thanks
 
I havnt played in a bg in a while since cant ever get in with 45 min ques but from what i remember ever since that 84 hunter (minaj) faction changed to ally we won EVERY single game literally every single game trashing the horde, gy camping is fun for a bit but gets real boring

Never seen this hunter, but i guess he does alright. Would anyone else recommend a 80/83/84 hunter, Since one of my irl friends who i play 3v3 with at 85 is interested in twinking a hunter (he has a 80 one at the moment) But is unsure due to no aspect of the fox ^.^

But also, Tell me when your queuing, since i have been sat in a que atm for almost 2hrs. Same with a few allys crossrealm. So we might need a few more for a que pop! :)

There's a small enough range of cata gear for 80 twinks that just grabbing all of the useful <insert armor-type here> for the class will do. Add in a couple of 289 crafted pieces (deathsilk, Tsunami, Darkbrand sets) and bam, you're basically geared. For pvp it's usually find best secondary stat, pick piece with best secondary stat and use the remaining 4 pieces of wrathful, Grab a pvp trinket and go to town.

Knowing what to get comes from actually researching playing twinks. I wouldn't advise trying to spoon-feed them through it, because playing well doesn't come from that.
 
I've faced that hunter.. Pain in the ass to deal with, he knows how to use his pet sac n shit.. But he's using full cata-gear, so once I got a DF onto him with a full shatter he went down easily.. Same thing when I went fire, combustion ate him up.. Still, if he had his cooldowns, he was a pain to deal with. ;<

I usually just do bgs with as much SP as possible, so full cataclysm gear.. If there's someone on me I go down pretty quickly, but because of all the mastery etc I can easily kill someone in a shatter, which is worth the lack of survivability imo.

I don't really queue in the week btw, queues seem to be longer then.. However, during the day/early evening weekends, the queue is quick. (about 10 min queue)
 
Just tried some 2v2, Got to 1.9 mmr as Bad geared frost mage + Uh dk, Qued into x2 mage....Yeah ams can only do so much! Does anyone think its a good idea to invest into some of the level 80 frost resist armor? Like if i get chest+belt for pvp filled with 20resi gems?
