Alliance is really pissing me off

First they report my name and sig (Critøris and " abortion brings out the inner child in you") and i get a week long forum ban, now my 39s name of Limþ is flagged for rename. Is there anything wrong with the name Limþ?



And i know its alliance cause some lame said " Your name and signature make me cry".
 
Ok so apparently it wasnt alliance on Limþs name cause i just tried changing it to þooþ and it says "names may only contain letters", but they are still responsible for my forum ban.
 
Pretty sure a blue came out and said that the non-letter characters were ok for naming, given the entirety of the wow playing community and the finite number of letter combinations using only a-z...



I don't have a link to the blue, but I'm fairly certain it's been said...



Critøris was prolly flagged for the reason that it's just in bad form, same with your forum sig, not for the ø character.

As for Limþ... I got nothing..

Your sig however has potential to cause alot of upset to people, seriously how immature are you to see abortion as a laughing matter. Grow up.
 
JUKE, is right, Blizz did do a post on use of ASCI, other language letters, map characters in character naming. at one time this was not allowed, it is now and has been for awhile.



i did up a GM ticket concerning a name with these symbols about 8-9 months ago. GM told be that is no longer a violation when naming players.



as for your name Critoris, i can see someone putting in a complaint. we had a player use the symbols and named a player PVPNESS......he had to rename per Blizz

read blizzard's ToS, they don't allow special characters in char names.

Here's Eyonix:

I transferred one of my high level characters to another realm not too long ago and decided to use a special character upon being prompted to change the name. None of my other characters have them, but I'm actually enjoying having it -- I get far less whispers from random people asking for things.

ok one of my characters names got flagged for offensive but it is in no way offensive.

anyone know why that may have got flagged?
