I've compiled a post that lists the new gear coming in Cataclysm; the changes to existing gear and the gear that's getting grandfathered. It's without a doubt the most up-to-date and thorough post on item changes for Cataclysm. I spent quite awhile testing it.

I like that you're sticking to just items people will or might actually use. You could add every new item and item change in there, but then it'd just become a bloated list.

MMOChampion isnt showing a quest for glacial stone either :-(

on some weapons, esp 2 handers, dps is going down but topend is going up? i find this odd.

IMO Melee classes in cata are going to be very bursty and heavily reliant on instant strikes for dps, i dont think dps on a weapons tooltip is any hard indicator of what their actual damage will look like.

MMOChampion isnt showing a quest for glacial stone either :-(

MMO is showing two parts of the Raene's Cleansing quest chain. Its showing two from the middle of the chain. I dont know what this implies, but i wouldnt be so quick to say that glacial stone is gone.



MMO is also listing two sets of the last part of Blackfathom Villainy. One requires lvl 22, or requires lvl 18. Again im not sure what this means, but i wouldnt definately say that gravstone is being grandfathered, though its a good bet.



Edit: cata.wowhead lists Blackfathom Villainy as being lvl 18 req and it lists raene's cleansing as lvl 18 req as well.

I don't suppose anyone has seen if the 'of power' greens still contain AP? Like my 10ap wranglers. I'll still pick up the new ones for balance, but will the power greens stay power?
