Aimed Shot Change?

The player would only get the one ability and a handful of passives that they could get to 85 without even thinking about the impact it has, it's not like hitting a specefic level and suddenly getting 3 entirely new abilities. And it isn't so much balance than it is making the bgs more approachable to a new player who is leveling up, which is something blizz seems to want to improve. If one class lacks any spec abilities until 40 for any tree, that class finds itself at an enormous disadvantage for a long portion of the leveling process in the bgs.

Once again, I totally agree with you. That's why I am hoping that I am reading them wrong.

The bad part is that I haven't found anything (blue posts) to contradict my theory :/

It would definitely be awesome if that [what you said] was the case, but I don't want to bank on it and get my hopes up if it is not.

Will casting Aimed Shot clip auto shots?

To allow them to use their focus for popping two Aimed Shots back to back and not require them to use any of it defensively which would prevent the 2 Aimed Shots in a 4 second burst window. They won't be a faceroll class in Cataclysm 19 like they are right now.

That little beta huntard video someone posted earlier would seem to indicate otherwise. Hopefully one of my chosen classes will be faceroll enough to be able to do the same, WTB 1k MS crits follow with a 700 crit heroic strike.

You can combine Aimed Shot with Kill commad and dealing more than 1700 damage :O

In a chaos situation, that same Hunter could go Aimed Shot one one target under simultaneous assault by a Frost Mage, get one kill, then target switch to a target under attack by a BM Hunter who is kiting it with a rotation of CC/Snares and Steady Shots and Aimed Shot that for a kill

. The Frost Mage then spends his mana keeping snares and roots on targets that are trying to advance on the focus starved Hunter before the Hunter has focus enough to kill again. When Wing Clip does get it's Focus Cost, it may fall on Rogues and Druids to engage Hunters and forcing the hunter to exhaust focus on getting away rather than gibbing targets.
