Getting AGM on my lvl 1 twink is proving to be a real hassle.
I've been trying for a number of weeks, going to the chest between 1 and 3 times a day - Sometimes with 2 or 3 90s helping me some times alone and have got the chest 0 times. My realm isn't THAT populated yet every time I try to get AGM there's atleast 5 enemy players there going to as many as 25 or 30.

Anyone got any clever tips?
 
It's hard no matter what server you are on.
Take a week off work and log on every night, where no one is online.. there you will get the loot.. maybe x)
just gotta be lucky, i had a level 1 that got the loot no help and 5 level 90s and 3 19s
 
You need to make a macro that you can spam to accept the BoP trinket when you are opening it. best bet if there are alot is to die, then stand on chest and watch and wait. Wait until someone in the fight is close to dying because it is more likely that the others will be tunneling on them and lose focus on watching the chest. Res and open whilst spamming your macro.

This is my method unfortunately I rarely get close. Half way opened is my best so far :<

Took less than a week to get 2 AGM on my f2p lock so this is a bother.
 
Well my method is you get your twink and specifically go under where the chest usually spawns then you go your level 90 and toon sit on TOP of the chest with a huge mount (Mammoth ETC...) and then open up another WoW window and then continue to log onto your twink after you have logged on click on your level one twink or whatever toon you are doing this for your level 90 toon will still be there now you can grab the chest with your level 90's big mount covering you up

Last night I set my alarm for the two chest spawns that happen while I sleep - got none. It's always people from other realms which is the annoying part. There is literally no one from my realm.

This seems like it might be worth a try in the early hours of the morning when there's only really twinks going for it.

On a side note I was able to get the midnight chest spawn. Managed to steal it in front of about 7 lvl 90s.
By that rate it will take me about 2 years to get my 2 AGM. Joys xD
