Aggramar EU will be having some 29s soon

As said in the title, there will be some upcomming 29s on aggramar, mostly a fun project and preparation for WoD.
Anyone care to join us? :cool:
 
Assuming no serious effort has been put into this project yet, isn't it possible to do it somewhere else? If this really in preparation for WoD, shouldn't it be done on one of the former big 29 twink realms, such as DMF? Old 29 twinks will pop out of the woodwork, and I think it would help immensely if the gap between the communities was decreased instead of increased.

Me personally have never participated in any 29s community other than a small guild on Bloodfeather in TBC, if DMF is the place to be, we should try get something going there, summon all your former 29 pals into this thread if you may :D

Well, I remember the thread on the official WoW forums we had going back in 2010/11, and although I don't have a twink on DMF myself, it was by far the most visible community at the time. Both the alliance guild Remembered and the horde guild The Clumsy Bludgeoning reside there, and although I can't guaranteed they all still play, there at least is a foundation to build on.

Edit: Seems like both GMs have logged in recently. Maybe some talks can be initiated?

The biggest guilds were on Darkmoon Faire. There were others though, like alliance guild Slow Ñ Steady on Bronze Dragonflight and horde guild TbaggerZ on Darkspear. Although, the latest resurgence of 29s on EU was mostly through Real ID, since players were scattered around all sorts of realms.

I will prob not go 29 until I have more reliable information about the changes. Like beta information.

I think that if this information turns out to be faulty, EU has the potential to get bgs going anyway. I mean, look at the 10-14 bracket, popping occasionally.
Atleast I hope so, but a project is a project, i'm enjoying myself immensely gearing a 29 due to all the new items, a whole new world of twinking :D

hmm... maybe you're right. I might give it a try when I got time over. Hows aggramar activity? Heard the server is kind of dead. I mean enchantwise and stuff.
 
I won't be making a 29 seriously untill a few weeks before WoD, when things are more set in stone then they are now. It's a fun project tho, and even if it won't go 29, maybe enough people will have made 29's to get that bracket going. Only time will tell.
 
If you need the GM of DMF or Draenor 29s guild here i am ;D I'm totally up for some 29s arenas etc send me a pm if you want to talk to me ingame!
 
Im slowly touching up my old 29, WoD will most likely not even be out until Novemeber so im not in a rush.
 
This going to be in SSDD or a new guild?
 
Before starting a new guild let me know maybe i can help out! I suggest doing this on Draenor or DMF since there are already some guilds existing. Although DMF has some bigger guilds i think draenor is the way to go bc of higher population and the fact that on DMF its like impossible to find an enchanter for twink enchants^^
 
Enchant wise Squidgy has all enchants that we would need, and Aggramar A has a nice amount of good enchanters as well as a not-to-dead AH.

Although WoD changes is nowhere near facts yet, and although we're not sure the brackets will even be 20-29 yet, or if 29 is even viable due to scaling, I will be making a druid on Aggramar. I spoke to Mezz about the server, and tbh Aggramar shouldn't be a problem. There is a lot of twink already, apart from the huge f2p community, and we're zoned with Draenor so if there is a guild on Draenor, we would be able to easily arena/premade or even skirmish (!!!) vs ppl from Draenor.

I see this as a fun project, that can lead to a new bracket growing strong in EU. A fresh start, new items, new abilities and I'm very much looking forward to it!

Sounds good, will there be only a horde guild or an alliance one too?
