Aerie Peak AGM topic

Yeah dudes, go for it, I've been trying only for a few days now and got 2 pieces, both earned by having some real fun FFA fights with other 20s. Seriously, this AGM thing is just so much ****ing fun when there aren't 85s around to spoil it.



About the interrupting a 20 with a 85 around, I have been following that rule without seeing it mentioned anywhere, the owned of Onkelkonkel can vouch for that :p, but in that cause today, I was bitter for 1) seeing 2 freshly made ally hunters 2) the fact that me or Hard wouldve already gotten the trinket before the 85 kid showed up if it wasn't for the hunters, so I went for interrupting said hunters.
 
Sorry don't know about today, the episode I mentioned was when the 85 paladin.. Vake.. something like that, kept coming to harass us. Doesn't matter now anyway. Let's just agree that we won't f... with eachother if the 85s are around. Take your chance at the chest when/if we manage to get them away from the chest
 
I first learned of F2P a few months ago when seeing the announcement on the news bulletin on this site. I then saw the topic telling everyone to roll Aerie Peak, began to face palm, and thought to myself "OP is probably rolling a low pop server and all of these guys just got trolled". I totally saw this coming. Best way to get AGM on any character is rolling a super low-pop PvP/RP server.
 
on my 20 shaman i can definitely solo AGM as I've soloed quite a few chests on my double AGM 19 mage. it takes time and dedication, especially since the chest drop times are the same on Boulderfist as they are on AP. I'm usually only on for a chest or two in the morning though, since that seems to be the time when non 85s are most likely to be the highest level at the arena.
 
I got 6 chests in a row over AV weekend when all of the high level PvPer's were busy with Battlegrounds. As Monday night closed in on me I found myself dealing with a lot of people who showed up for their daily when the chest popped. I got my first trinket around 5am CT this morning. Last one took the longest to get as the weekend passed.

We managed to get him to chase us, giving the dead people at the chest a chance to loot it. The one at the chest was 0.5s from getting it when you ressed and interupted, 2 sec after the 85 was back in the center and looting with dead 20s all around. Seems like a total, pointless waste.

I don't have AGM, yet i'm still willing to throw away my chance at it every single time i'm there, to harass a highlevel, giving others the chance to get it. But it's pointless to help if the rest of you start fighting in those few secs the 85 is out of range.

Very happy to know some horde is coming to fight for it. I hope you make sure to tell the rest when success in the arena is achieved, maybe more will come down.

Tell that to Ikeelyo who interrupted me after I miraculously managed to polymorph a 85 pally that was too stupid to trinket/divine shield.

I was 1 second from opening the chest when he resses and hits me, and the pally after that proceeds to kill both of us and help a level 6 getting the chest
