Advice for future 19 hunter transfer?

Old school twinker here, stopped twinking with the XP change. Decided I'm going back hardcore since I've never had more fun in WoW than twinking!

Making a 19 NE? hunter (Yea, I know), in the planning stages, probably transferring to A Azgalor to roll with Meat Puppet and MIC. Looking mostly for suggestions on what to bring since I won't have main support there.

So far, gear plan:

Head: Lucky Fishing Hat (10stam)

Neck: Sentinel's Medallion

Shoulders: BOA mail (bringing leather too)

Back: Spidersilk Drape (3agi)

Chest: BOA Mail (bringing leather too)

Wrist: Wrangler's Wristbands of the Falcon (7int)

Hands: Scouting Gloves of the Falcon (15 agi)

Belt: Deviate Scale Belt

Legs: Leggings of the Fang (40 arm)

Feet: Footpads of the Fang (minor speed)

Rings: Seal of Wrynn, Lavishly Jeweled Ring

Trinkets: BOA haste to become AGM, BOA Insignia

Weapons: BOA Dignified Headmaster's Charge (22 int), BOA Bone Bow (2scope)

Arrows: Aren't there some special arrows that are a bitch to make or something?

Spec: 2/2 Imp Concussive Shot, 1/3 Focused Aim, 2/5 Lethal Shots, 3/3 Careful Aim

Glyphs: Major: Multi shot, Minor: Scare Beast

Spec and gear designed to convert INT to AP, 1 in Focused Aim to assist the 1 Hit from Bone Bow, 3 Hit from Deviate Scale Belt, and 2 Hit from Lavishly Jeweled Ring, and 4 hit from Spidersilk Drape. I think I'll end up replacing Deviate Scale Belt with Vigorous Belt of the Bandit, and put one from Lethal Shots to Focused Aim for hit cap. Does that seem alright for 5% cap, both ways? Managing hit cap is the biggest gear altering decision. Totally open to other suggestions here, except I want to use the Bone Bow for style points.

Going Skinning Herb (lvl bug) since I won't have a main to support engineering.

Bringing 20k+ honor in Wintergrasp Commendations, mats for First Aid, fishing shiz, 300g, other shiz to sell.... any sneaky advice for convenient ways to move gold besides basic AH sellers? JC, ENC mats etc.

Oh, what do the better hunters use for pets? Hound, Spider, Bat... I'd probably go bat? Ranged 1s stun seems beast.

So yea, what am I missing?

Thanks in advance,

Bind wingclip to everykey on your keyboard then /faceroll

Your set.

Opinions on hunters vary greatly, especially when it comes to gear and spec choices. The best way I have found to max out ap while still having hit is to put 5 hit to boots, use the DM ring, and get the last two percent with spec. This means you'll be sacrificing 2 seconds from your conc shot because of the spec change but over time you'll realize how negligible that change really is. Like someone has previously said, wing is your best friend, use it. If you lose minor speed however you will need to have a firm grasp on the concept of aspect toggling. I'll use a common example; you're chasing a druid fc that knows what he's doing and will faerie fire or moonfire you if you stay in aspect of the cheetah. You will need to know how to switch quickly in order to stay with him and not be hit by either of them. There are so many other circumstances where this is needed with or without minor speed but I believe the pros outweigh the cons on this enchant option. It's up to you.

Gear changes: Bandit Cape is BiS, Screecher Belt or Bandit Belt, and the BoA gun is better with Heavy Crafted Shot as ammo.

Pet: Bat. During a premade the snake pet is just as or even more viable when used correctly.

Glyph: Serpent Sting > Multishot

Spec: 0/2 Imp Concussive Shot, 2/3 Focused Aim, 5/5 Lethal Shots, 3/3 Careful Aim

Forgot to mention that you will need to switch that 22 int on your weapon to 25 agil. There is not debate going on in the hunter world about which chant is better for that staff.

I say just roll like DuckHunt is rolling and just wait for WOTLK to come out.

Why Glyph of Serpent Sting > Multi Shot? Does Venomstrike proc off of SS ticks or each Multi shot?

Here's an Armory to a perfect Alliance hunter.

yo kitemare... you were in google us on frostmourne yah??? well imo you should also get the grand staff of jordan boa staff as it has 6hit rating and you can use it to replace some gear choices such as the 4hit ring. it is argueably better the headmasters charge. you could use the 7stam/agil or minor speed enchant over the 5hit on boots and still maintain decent hit, put it this way character planner . 19 ally hunter - chardev.org makes for a good alternative... you have good damage, good hit, a good mana pool... also you maintain a fair amount of hp... just my 2 cents worth.. anyway earthroots is now playing for ON but theyre a little inactive. i am unsure on meat puppets activity but there are multiple guilds on alliance on the elune real and bloodhoof i think

Headmasters + 5 hit on boots > jordans + 7agi for sure. The benefit of the stats over one another is debatable (i'd still choose headmasters if if only depended on that) but the main benefit of having hit on boots rather than jordans is that you always have the hit cap, whereas you are not capped once you switch to your ap axe with 25 agi if you switched away from jordans.

Thanks for the comments and feedback. I've finished my gear selection/leveling, have everything I need except for AGM, LFH green world drops and random cloak/belt now.

1) Still curious as to why lots of hunters prefer SS Glyph > Multi Shot? I can guess but, just wanted to hear your thoughts.

2) And if Venomstrike proc's from additional Multi Shot's and SS ticks? Going to test it myself in a bit.

Venomstrike does not proc off of SS ticks.

Here's some advice. Just because you sit midfield and rack up HKs while the FCs run past, doesnt mean youre actually contributing to your team.

Please, enough with the condescending tone. If you choose to insult and belittle your teammates don't be surprised when they don't heed your advice. I felt I spent as much time protecting our FC or trying to get to theirs as I spent in middle. It's particularly frustrating when you specifically yell at people for ignoring their FC when I'm sitting in a sheep or nova or an enemy hunter is locking me down and there's really little I can do. It really felt like you weren't watching what I was doing at all. There's enough 19 hunter hate on the table without personal attacks on my skill or playstyle when I've played this game for 5+ years, 4 of which I've had twinks. I really enjoy twinking, today was my first day back since the xp change, I've really been looking forward to it for two weeks (my twink is hardly finished), and I was having a fun time until I walked into you. Depressing.

I could elaborate on more specific examples from our games if you want, I particularly enjoyed "Two baddie hunters killing a mage at the GY" when we were supposed to be killing the FC who was not even halfway down our tunnel (Track humanoids for the win?). I guess next time I'll cast a 60s Blessing of Freedom on myself, trinket three sheeps, and go sit at the entrance to the tunnel with my thumb up my butt as I wait for their FC to come out instead of killing the lone, ccing mage right in front of me.

Here's some advice for you. Try encouraging your teammates, instead of calling them baddies, worthless, and keyboard turners. I'm sure they won't vindictively spend the rest of the game in the middle.

I didnt say a single word to you the entire first game. I waited until the 2nd game, when you had punted the game for a 2nd time, before spouting off about randomly farming mid without helping teammates. You even ADMITTED it yourself the second game, when you said 'I dont know what else to do here, so Im just sitting in midfield killing with this healer'.

Also, I never said you were one of the 2 hunters who stayed in the graveyard as I left with the flag ramp side. There were 3 hunters in that game, you just happened to be the 3rd hunter who was farming HKs below the graveyard with the rest of the alliance as the 2 hunters farmed inside the graveyard, and I left ramp side. I repicked the flag after they returned and literally held it for a good 4 minutes on their side of the map without a single person directly supporting me. The whole team was just focusing on farming hks, yourself included.

One time I can understand, the 2nd time and youre just an HK farmer like every other hunter in the 19 bracket.
