US Active Servers/Guilds

I'm wondering what servers are active for twinking? Alliance? Horde? Which faction is more active?
Lastly, any recommended guilds or communities?

I'm mostly looking for Alliance after I looked things some more.

What about Aerie Peak, Dalaran, and/or Darkspear. Aerie Peak looks like it might have an Alliance guild, but it also looks like the lowest population.
