I've been running low level dungeons since 2011, easily over 1000 runs.
Iv'e been run though with dungeon finder ques, and iv'e been through high level runs.
Its obvious that they amp up the % rate, more greens/blues drop.
In typical, low level 5 man dungeon que, they know that they have to amp up the loot % because there are 4 other people rolling for the same items, if they kept the % the same people would more likely do a dungeon and get nothing, making it less rewarding, encouraging them to just get run through by high levels all the time.
Lets put it this way, in 74 runs of Shadowfang Keep (all Qued in the Dungeon Finder), I saw these items drop:
- Shadowfang x 3
- Assasins Blade x 3
- Guillotine Axe x 2
- Necrology robes x 2
- Mindthrust bracers x 3
- Night Reaver x 2
- Gloomshroud armor x 0
- Other general blue rare zone drops x 9/10 ish
- Tons of greens, every couple of mobs.
^ now I've seen history progress of High level runs through SFK and their loot was nowhere near as colorful as this.
And its always been like this, I never got my ring of precision drops until I started dungeon finding it, but maybe its all RNG and its just my luck.
I will ask a GM about it.
