After 'thorough' investigation, Blizz reactivated my account. Yesterday I got a reply from a GM (most likely an automated message)
'Thank you for your continued correspondence regarding your World of Warcraft account. After an initial review, we want to be certain that this account action is reviewed fully and accurately before we make an assessment as to whether this account action was administered in error, or if it was administered correctly. With this in mind, your information has been escalated to our Hacks department to be investigated further - once we have heard back from them, we will update you with these findings. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter.'
After that my ticket was set to 'Resolved'. After waiting around 12 hours I get another message from them saying:
'After a thorough investigation, I was fortunately able to overturn the suspension on your World of Warcraft account due to a lack of verification on our end. With this I went ahead and applied two days of compensation game time to make up for the time that you could not access the account. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter.'
The only reason I can think of why my account was banned is from people who know nothing about twinking, reporting me.
Yes i'm playing a survival hunter in this screenshot and yes the quality is low.
