Access to Ravika?

There's a cool NPC named Ravika that sells toys/cosmetics from 5.3 (e.g. Griftah's Authentic Troll Shoes (invisible shoes), Whole Body Shrinka' , Sen'Jin Spirit Drum, Xan'tish's Flute ) There's been a lot of confusion and hate about her, since she is only available BEFORE the Broken Shores scenario. Which means if you don't have a lvl 100 Horde or have already completed the scenario, you're probably SoL. Lately though, people seem to have been able to access her via level 1 Orc or DH alts. I haven't had any luck with my lvl 1 Orc, but it probably might be because I don't have Legion. Does anyone have any further information about this vendor?
 
from what ive experienced, at level 98 or higher, you get a breadcrumb quest to start broken shore, which does not require legion. once you complete the breadcrumb, the area is phased, the next quest is to make preparations for broken shore. it is here that ravika shows up. after completing the preparation, the next quest is broken shore itself. after broken shore, ravika is no longer there. so ravika will only be there between completing the breadcrumb, which requires level 98, and before doing broken shore. that is how it would normally work, im not sure if there are loopholes to workaround this

You mean posting 2 Screenshots of the Vendor itself with it open to show the items are available, with their Name to prove who the Vendor is, the items in my bags to prove I could purchase them while my Level 10 is clearly visible in the picture to show I didn't cheat and use a 98-100 and in the top right corner showing the actual Location of the Vendor on the Minimap? How exactly is this not "actually letting you know"?

Must have missread i guess, thought OP was curious on how to do this on a lower level character as they dont have acces to the scenario and the vendor by that right?
Atleast i wasn't able to see the vendor or any of the other legion mobs near the docks on my lower levels xd

  • Must have purchased Legion?
  • Paid Account vs F2P?
  • I have no other idea because I just drove over there on a Level 10 and there they were.
 
I was able to buy her items on a goblin just after landing at the docks after finishing the Goblin starting area. I think the key is to have prepurchased Legion?

you let us know that it is possible. but still didnt say how. unless its a simple, walk there and buy it, which i dont think is the case cos everyone else cant see him

Yeah i think legion might be a pre requisite as Draenor has been added to the battlechest and all. Ill try again later on my paid accs and will post results and thanks for the info

But I did just that, drove over there on a Level 10 and just bought them, as Horde.

well then thats interesting. i guess people will just have to walk in and out of that area, try it out on different toons, jump up and down, turn around in circles, etc. and hope he shows up at some point in time
 
I don't think it's that random. I honestly just think it's a matter of having prepurchased Legion.

Not true, just did it on my main without purchased legion and was able to just run there on my paid level 20 twink. once i went there on my f2p the whole zone phased tho..
suppose it should still be possible with some special tricks like the ebon hand tabard back in the day ^^
 
Alright, just to make sure I have all MY based covered I got on my F2P (linked to a Paid Account though). Here's what I saw:

You can see in the Chat Window that it's a Starter Account and you can also see that it's a Linked one as it shows the 3 Toys in Red since I've already learned them, but all are clearly visible and purchasable.
 
I was leveling my mage through invasions today and I saw a bunch of lowbies with the buffs you get from the various races at your faction's port before you do the scenario. I guess they must have changed the breadcrumb prerequisite or maybe it is bugged, idk. Got the toys on my lv 91 Horde DK.
