Aaww and Bamfcow's quest to downing an 85 elite.

well BON is on a quest to 2 man an 85 elite starting at lvl 50 and going to go up 5ish lvls each time. we will update post with our progression. (i dont care if ur interested or not.

first day. volchan success. lvl 50

2nd fight. Xandivious fail. major fail lvl 55

3rd fight. Twilight Prophet<-- success on 3rd try. lvl 56

4th fight Mal'druk the Soulrender <--- to tough. lvl 64

5th fight. Okrek gotten to 35% so far. still waiting to catch him in game again while both of us are online.

hard time to oom him, after that was just a walk in the park. Fun fun fun stuff bamfy
 
Did to fight him in your FC gear?
 
Why is this not being made into movies? Every boss should be recorded and shown in a montage! Just my opinion anyway ;)
 
i like that idea.. but i dont know any free programs i can use to record



if anyone has a decent/good program ill gladly redo our first fight and do so with every fight we do... even put our fails up haha

Also, What gear do you PvE in?
 
my gear will change based on fights... the first fight i went all out stam because his only main damage was his aoe.. which hits for 900-1k. his mele was easy. i did our first 3 attempts in dodge gear.. but only having 100 hp after his aoe's and would die from mele befor aaww could get my health back up.







p.s. letting mob #2 slam on my dk... i think this is going to be one of the best/most fun fights we will have on our way to 85. this dudes gonna hurt!
 
I think it would be fun to do a 10 man raid against one of the Halaani Guards. That shit would take forever.
 
for sure, but i dont think the guards have any abilities?? i think ur dps could stand there and go eat breakfast,then lunch, then dinner... and just have your healers stick around. im looking for elites or rare elites with at east 2 special attacks... this #2 has i believe 5?? and the first one i think had 2.
 
You gotta hit hellfire pen. there's so many fun elites out there :)
 
one at a time.. i gotta wait till thursday for aaww to get back on :*( im antsy to face this 2nd boss i sat there on my dk flying watching the mob and a 42 alli hunter showed up attacked him n got raped!



i became scared.
 
i think im gonna eventually have to have 3-4-even 5 people to down some of these mobs.. i dont see how 2 of us can do a 2 man 85.... i dont plan to "kite" any to death like we have seen ioerror do :) but even this 2nd boss with his 150 damage every 2 seconds along with mele damage and other effects... i dont see how a 10 shammy spamming 150-200 heals will be able to keep my hp up. we will see tho:)
