A very F2P Christmas! *Brainstorming thread*

Hi all,

This is addressed I guess to mostly the Aerie Peak community.

Since returning to WoW I have already noticed a lot of names I don't recognise on AP in addition to new players who have only recently joined our server! Welcome to F2P! :)

And since Winter Veil is only 1 week away, i thought it would be fun to put on a F2P Christmas event - where veterans can have a good excuse for "reunion" ^_^ and also for newcomers and oldies to get to know each other... like a mixer! :O CHRISTMAS PARTIES ARE FUN!!!!!

It was only 1 year ago, in Winter Veil last year!!!!!, that I got my first taste of F2P WoW when I joined AP Horde as Swagpurse.

NOW we only have 1 week to think of something super cool for everyone to enjoy:

However I suck at coming up with ideas for fun stuff...... so i'll let you cool kids handle the brainstorming here.

Ideas... possibly...
- Secret santa (dunno how this works since we can't trade or mail)
- Snowball fight
- Christmas party in Winterspring

But since I"m terrible at thinking of fun things to do.... I will just stick to being the video purson ;)

********OFFICIAL F2P WINTER VEIL INFORMATION*************

REALM: Aerie Peak
FACTION: Mostly Horde but Ally welcome to attend

DATES: Friday, December 21 - Sunday, December 23

You will have ONE FULL WEEK from when Winter Veil starts to get ready for the event.

- Collect your cool Winter Veil goodies by then: cosmetic items, pets, vanity items, toys ETC ETC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHERE IS IT HAPPENING? Probably Winterspring - but unconfirmed yet, Dun Morough is the other very snowy area. Depends which one will be easiest for most F2Ps to get to or which one my mage can help us port to easier.

WHAT IS HAPPENING? Snowball fights!!!!!!! Christmas PARTY!!! Doing fun stuff in the snow, taking group screenies, dressing up all "festive!", and also your chance to be in a F2P Winter Veil video!!!!!!

I like it. Equip as much hit as possible on the dps, have a few tanks circle jerk taunting, and someone multiboxes a few resto druids to heal.

It's possible that the only class that can achieve enough hit may be an ele shaman stacking spirit.
 
A thread about your idea to have other people come up with ideas?

Purse wouldn't do that. If you or anyone was banned I'm sure it was for a good reason.

On topic, I have an extra special gift to give out at the F2P Christmas party! Lets finalize the date/time/location so I can be sure to make it!

I think first full weekend of Winter Veil would be a good time for this event. Gives everyone a full week to get their achieves/special Winter Veil toys/other vanity items - then everyone will be able to show it off that weekend.

So NOT the weekend when the event starts, but the very first one following

AKA next weekend (Friday December, 21 to Sunday December, 23)

What do people think? :)
