A quick question about hunters.

Hello everyone, and thanks in advance for any advice given. My question is, on my ali hunter I would like to know if I should get the mail chest, for the crit rating or the leather chest, for the hit rating, as I will be alliance and I'm not sure if any quests give hit rating gear.

Thanks for that, but i was looking for more of a direct item replacement from someone who plays a hunter.

like naked said, if you would rather have the feet of lynx and another route perhaps with less cs, then I would go with the leather chest. Personally, I basically stacked critical strike, something that most hunters do atm. So to answer your question, I would go with the mail chest, assuming you gear the generic way.

There's a good amount of alliance hunters right now but if you MUST. The best way to get hit capped is

Simple Pearl Ring
Ello's Band
and BOA Helm

If you can't Xfer Horde and get Gloves of Unmitigated Badassery

Ok listen to me. I play hunter. If you're alliance only, you need Ello's Band, BoA leather helm, and BoA leather shoulders to get hit capped.

So to answer your question, use the mail chest for the crit.

That's the setup for horde only hunters.

This is BiS setup for Alliance only hunters (minus the BoA cloak).

Rockslicer doesnt provide enough melee dps. You might want to roll with BoA axe

Why would I get the staff when I could have A rockslicer and just get the leather shoulders? Wouldn't the crit of the rockslicer make up for the shoulders, in comparison to a no agil/crit weapon?
