A new weapon to slightly replace Nail Splitter?

I was running through scholomance today and manged to find this. The Silencer - Game Guide - World of Warcraft

The Silencer. Ive never been in this bracket before but ive decided to post this to see if it was any help. Leave kind feedback on what you think.

thats a good gun, and its on par with shadowforge bushmaster. nail splitter, i have no idea what that is.

It is nice for transmog (I use it), but little else. Nail Spitter is the BiS, although now unobtainable, ranged weapon for this bracket.

Being that nail spitter is unobtainable this would be a nice subsitution to that. So far i havent saw another gun that is close to it at this level.

It probably is the best obtainable gun at the moment. But obtainable BiS for Hunter is probably now Bow of Searing Arrows as the proc adds dps.
