Goatee
Legend
I got interested reading that Delayed post about his story ( I'm a decent person who thank people who give me ideas), so I decided to make one for me (but mines gonna be 1,000% true) So yeah, let's start.
My original toon was some really poop geared warlock on a server called agamaggan, and I wasn't good at the game at all. I typed slow as heck, didn't even know how to duel, and well, I was pretty new to the game (this was in the last patch of cata) as I was just playing this to pass some time since I was only in the 6th grade then. I really couldn't afford the game, so the thought of me ever getting a sub was out of the window. And I just played by myself most of the time, doing nothing but acting stupid in Goldshire as everyone ignored me and walked right on by. I eventually just stopped playing, and quit until Mists of Pandaria came out, but this time I had learned how to type like a decent human being, and made characters on Darkspear because well, Swifty was there.
I made a warrior first, didn't really play him much though. So I deleted the first warrior I made, and instead made a worgen druid, that goes by the name Goateedruid. I really just knew how to play boomy for the most part, and I learned all I knew about druids from people like Nelf and Lol (who both played on daggerspine by the way) but I was still pretty dumb (for lack of a better term) besides the fact that I realized that BoA's would help me not get destroyed in pvp.
I wouldn't really duel though on my druid, but I did make more friends (whom I'll name later) and Darkspear really became home to me. I actually began to take WoW a little bit more seriously.
Of course though, I got a little intrigued to make some overpowered toons, and this is when I made my favorite character- Goateesap. I wasn't really creative with names, as you can tell. The idea to make a rogue was given to me by a friend I made in the game, a nelf rogue named Noblex, who taught me the fundamentals of the class, but most especially drove me to play combat. I also learned a bit by playing with other friends who played warrior and rogue, but Noblex taught me the most. I also spent most of mid-MoP playing with a hunter named Charlesmagne and a prot pally named Sliverkiller, and well I really took WoW seriously then. But during the time I did make a second warrior (not berdy) his name was Goateebleeds, which sounds disgusting but yeah i didn't think the name out in advance and I was just going with my Goatee- scheme. I learned how to play warrior thanks to people like Warriorburd, and Warriorburd, and Warriorburd.... To tell you the truth, I only learned warrior because of Warriorburd. This would eventually carry on into WoD when I did sub for the second time and made a Vet Warrior (with the help of Trialkiller) named Goateevet. I had tons of fun on Goateevet, especially playing fury warrior and oneshotting people (which is how I got wrecking ball) but he could never take the place of Goateesap, until...
Until blizz accidentally gave me game time on accident. It was only 2 days, but I was a heavy pvp'er and I couldn't wait 2 days. So I told everyone, and Vis gave me like 1k gold to buy chants because Vis is a bada$$ (not sure if I can say the actual word) but I didn't know that you were supposed to unlock your xp before your sub ended. By this point, I was pretty good at the game (it only took 3 years) and my rogue was my go to. If someone beat me in a duel, I'd get my rogue to beat them. If I wanted to camp the life out of ashenvale, I'd get my rogue. But this actually kinda hindered everything, and for almost a year and a half, my rogue sat there on a shelf, gathering dust while I was playing Goateevet and an Orc warrior I had for a while named Berdy.
Fast forward through WoD----------------------->
In Legion, I decided to play Berdy religiously. I decided that I needed a horde toon too if I wanted to actually be good. Plus, legion made it easier for me to gear my toons (my hunter got invasion gear, Berdy got all bg gear) because I was entering high school and I was playing (grid iron) football, so I didn't have time for the game at the beginning. Of course, practically 85% of the people I knew originally quit, although Vis did just return, The only people I really knew before Legion that stayed were Delere, Vince, and Smallxforces, although he did quit like a month or two after (he's the GOAT though, don't @ me) and Trial probably played his priest once or twice with me, and that was it. So I had really 3 friends on ally, that is until Vince introduced me to more people, and I met more people on Horde that call me Berdy which I'm not really used to yet ( I used to always be called Goat or Tee or Goatee).
But yeah. That's it. Also:
Can't forget Hey-Darkspear
or the mans Topsolo and again, my boy Smalls
Also, I would like to thank the guild Living Twinks that did actually bring twinks to Darkspear, it was good while it lasted
And Charlesmagne (one of the better hunters i've met) for helping my druid get the argent crusade tabard
And finally to all the people who actually brought me into bgs when I was new on darkspear, even though I didn't really bring anything to the table besides maybe dotting up rogues and taking pretty much 90% of the damage off of you because people would rather kill the dumb druid spamming stuff like a maladjusted mongoloid, as Trial would always say. (Note, I'm only quoting what Trial said in a bg once, not what I type.)
RIP MISTS PVP, YOU WILL BE MISSED (not hunters mark though)
