Hey.

I am levelling a hunter and i am quite clueless on what pet i know all pets have its own specialization and all but i just don't know what pets do you recommend? I was thinking monkey because its disorientation?

OT: Moth + Wolf is best combo imo. Moth = Interrupt, Wolf = + Crit Buff for BG Grp

OK now that we've gotten all the BS answers from people who don't want to help out of the way...

For leveling, use whatever pet you were issued, it doesn't matter. Once you get into BGs, you're going to want to try different things depending on your playstyle.

I find that the most important factor in BGs is what mobility or utility the pet is lending to your arsenal. Pets that can stop a runner are great(*) or pets that can offer some utility that you don't find elsewhere are great.

*** PLEASE NOTE that a spider's Web, a crab's Pin, and a dog's Lock Jaw were nerfed recently, and now break on any damage! These used to be great ways of stopping a runner but now are highly situational. A crocolisk's Ankle Crack isn't bad, but it DR's with your own Conc Shot. However, in Cata at least, druids couldn't shift out of it. I haven't tested that in a long time though.

Personally I use a spider and a bird of prey. Birds of Prey have the Disarm ability, and if I'm not mistaken, it's the only Disarm in our bracket. However, if you just happen to be a Pandaren and haven't left the Wandering Isle yet, GET A CRANE. My primary hunter is a pandaren, and Cranes are one of the best if not the best pets in the bracket right now due to their Lullaby ability.

I vote for Bat with Sonic Blast.
Stun is versatile and usefull against any class. Giving you an edge in any situtation. 20 yard range and instant make application easy and the rather short duration make you work on your timing.
