Well, I'm still pulling together data and I am trying to look at something different with each game. I played my frost dk for a while this afternoon and my health at least seems to be about 30% higher than other dks and that is unbuffed. Fel sunder and nova still REALLY work well. So far my damage has been insane even without buffs. More exploring to come.

i'm not going to be online much in the coming days, but it's definitely (if someone else has spare time) worth looking into the stat weighting for pvp power on 99s. prideful weapons (despite less base dmg & primary/secondary stats) perform quite well. i used to have a macro that would convert pvp power from quantity (numerical value) to % of extra dmg, although i'm not sure where that went.
good to hear that felstone buffs still function. was shredding lvlers on my reroll 99 rogue earlier, going to hold off on xfer'ing it (will have all buffs, including nethercluster for felstone, upon transfer) until the bug with queueing (cannot queue sub-110 bgs if honor lvl 50+ apparently, and my main bnet is above that) gets fixed.

I dug one up the other day to check out the cloak enchant at lower levels
calculated using the above macro, prideful daggers alone add 30% extra dmg (off of pvp power) on my 99. seems to outweigh any gains from higher agi (socket weapons w/ 10 primary-stat gems) or artifacts (higher base dmg). 85 pvp power (13%) off of each weapon, in addition to another 4% off of tyranny enchant
I don't think that macro is working if it said 30% more dmg. I tested the staff on a resto druid and my healing went up quite a bit but my dmg from feral affinity and spells was lower.
I'm guessing pvp power is affecting healing and not dmg. So full prideful with pvp power deepholm lolites is prolly bis for glass max healing gear. I did not test dmg reduc.
I also tested prideful gun vs bm artifact gun and 6/6 legion gun. Prideful preformed much worse. I'm guessing this holds true on other dps classes and only provides dmg reduc.
We need more testing!

Was dueling osc's goat and my articaft weapon was white hitting for 400-700 damage. With the prideful 2h weapon (149 PvP power) I was hitting for 550-850. It was definitely performing better for me.
Additionally my flash of light went from healing for ~2400 to healing for ~2700 non-crit.
So that means either pvp power is acting different in bgs or some classes/specs are gonna benifit from pvp power full prideful and some arent. I don't think hunter will bc I tested bm and mm. Kinda weird we need some war game arenas to test this!
I'll test more tn and post back. If anyone wants to test remember target the player and type /wg to wargame. Also buy the full prideful and sell it back in the 2 hour window.

was there a hotfix for trinkets in bg’s? the procs scale down now from what they are out in the world/pve environment. just noticed this on a legion geared 99 ill check on the trinkets from SOO when i get home tonight.
I believe so. I think I remember reading this in some hotfix notes on MMO-champion. Let's hope they don't "fix" too much stuff.
To all the Twink Gurus out there- would it make any sense to twink at 91 vs 99? Full SoO gear with 3 WOD crafted epics at 91. I know it scales you to 99 in an instances BG- but what about your secondary stats? Thanks for the help. Working on an OP Hunter right now. If it makes any sense to stay 91 I will, but if not 99 is the way to go. Bearing in mind artifact weps don’t matter anymore either.

PVP power does not give any bonus damage to heal specs, as intended. and DPS specs get less boost to healing than heal specs.
Yes, so go whatever level you want, really. Only advantage I could think of is if world PvP gives an advantage to 90s, but I think there was some kind of scaling mechanic to world pvp, but I never did figure out how or if it works.
Maybe stam and int/agil/str but secondaries I’m pretty sure 90/91s still shine. And if it’s a huge difference, 90/91 might be worth a look
