Would this be correct?

80 mage Chardev



I didnt reforge Anthia's Ring cause i'd like to keep the hit in case of 84's.



Also chose Grounded Plasma shield over Nitro boots, but i might get 2 waist's so i can have nitro boots on while Grounded Plasma is on CD
 
Looks good, that's bis or near atleast.
 
When you say near, you mean gearwise right? Cause im not interrested in going frost for best damage..(exept maybe for few arenas >D)

What improvements would you do gearwise? (That doesnt include going 100% cata -.- )
 
I would go with this gear set up too, ofc you can go with cata wrist and boots if you don't need that much resi or use 2x t10 items for set bonus. I think there is no 100% bis because you have so many choices and depens what stat u want to stack most.
 
as frost u rly don't need resi, just watch out that you gloabel ur enemy before he globals you. :D

Well im not interrested in frost :D.. I suck at it (if thats possible)



+ my name- title combo "Flame keeper Iburnstuff" doesnt really suit anything but a fire mage :D



Im also wondering [Misbegotten Belt] from RS 25 HC wouldnt that > Beaty's Silk Ribbon ? If fully gemmed.

Yeah, probably but it's imposibble to pug, you need to buy good raiding guild to do it :s

Ye me neither. But i did it in cata on my main, and we only wiped ones and then we got him.. and that was a pug..

Ofc it was at 3am so not many kids playin at that kind of hour, but still.

Its rly freaking hard, my warlock never got it back in the day, and i was in a pretty good guild(should have allocated more time to RS instead of ICC)
 
bit low mastery but looks alright, did some 80 twinking and we ( me and few friends) were siting at 35+ mastery, was fun to see arcane mages do 60k + dps in ICC and 1 shoting everything in BGs with Ice lance





Edit: this is how we were rolling.
