News 8.1.5 Patch Notes...classic-MOP items from rares can upgrade now!

• All Quest rewards from Classic through the Warlords of Draenor expansion now have a chance to upgrade up to Epic quality.
  • Item-levels of Rare and Epic quest rewards in Classic through Warlords of Draenor have been increased slightly in some cases.
  • Unique items that drop from rare enemies in Classic through Mists of Pandaria content now also have a chance to upgrade in quality.

Wow yeah that’s harsh with the gf quest stuff. Idk what to think of this upgrade proc on rare loot though. Think it will effect dungeon rares like in ZF or even the rares with BoP loot in sfk? Anyone do any farming on ptr specially for rares?

Lol doesn't this completely fuck up any bis lists? I mean if you can just get lucky and get an item to titanforge into something crazy, that eliminates any potential for a bis list, just like it does for end game. It requires luck instead of determination.

Yep. Good luck rerolling until you get dumb lucky and have multiple epic upgrades on pieces you want

I guess this kinda combats twinks out gearing levelers? Most twinks already have these quests completed, but will it rlly make that much of a difference for those that are quickly passing through the brackets?

TLDR: if you had ur twink for years and done a lot of quests, you're fucked. If you don't care about that then u just keep making new twinks until u get RNG on most or all pieces
