US 70 Twink Ranged DPS... HELP!

So i want to finally join the level 70 twink bracket again. I used to have a ele shaman twinked at 70 and it was AMAZING! Are they still a solid ranged pick for BG's? Right now im in a toss up for ele shaman or maybe fire mage. All opinions are welcome!

I am alliance on Bleeding Hollow and looking for a friendly and active twink guild. I have a couple level 19's and just made a fury warrior in the 29 bracket. Drop some battle tags below and lets have some fun!
 
Hunter is always a solid pick for Battlegrounds.

Both ele shaman and fire mage are insanely strong! And what a coincidence you happen to be on the same faction and realm as my guild, xD.

Awesome! Whats you Btag and i can add you and start having some fun! Is there a super fast way to get to level 70 or is it just the usual grind of dungeons and quests?
 
actually, ele shaman in pve is either the #1 ranged or #2 right now(and will get better in 8.1) it depends on who. inyer frequently tops the dps meters at ~1.4-1.5k , and ive seen vladius do 1.4k with arcane, and a few frost mages can still pull over 1.2k

best bm ive seen was 1.4k on gruul, though if you go hunter surv is still the best.

I am still pretty new to the twink community but i plan on staying! With that being said, i would only be doing pvp. Is there a difference on running the old raids with a bunch of 70's compared to just having someone run me through it?

That sounds fun! Im just so busy most of the time that i wont have time to actually make raid times because the times that i can play are pretty sporadic... Can i get an invite to that guild when i get on later? You guys seem very helpful and know what you are talking about :)
 
I have BM, fire mage, and SP. Fire mage is the most versatile and perhaps highest burst (in addition to very good sustained damage), but BM is just a constant damage machine and spirit mend heals so much it's broken. SP is amazing too but you're very susceptible to being shut down by stuns and having all of your spells except shield in the shadow school.
 
So i ended up going the complete opposite lol... Im going WW Monk and if i end up not liking that ill switch to MW. Are either of those classes decent in the 70 bracket?
