70-74 whats best?

So, i got my 70 protadin twink, and im asking, whats best?


now with 5.4 scaling gems/enchants, i heard they doubled if u hit 72.

so now im asking, what is the best lvl in the 70-74 bracket

(also the lvl 72 engeneering helmet, better gems/enchants but lower stat scaling)

and can i still arena at 71-74?

No, you can no longer play arena as 71-74.

Just stay 70 on your Paladin.

70's have best gear scaling when in a BG, also wotlk gems / enchants go to full values when in a BG, .cata and higher enchants scale higher too in BGs because of the jump to the next scaling bracket when in a BG

as in other brackets that do arena, it seems like near every major expac or huge patch blizzard undoes the hot fixes on arenas and they become 5 levels again like 70-74, 80-84, and 85-89. after complaints they fix them again to be 70, 80, 85 only.

blizzard caused my 70 pal to pop, they turned on my XP (yes it was turned off) when they made WOTLK free, i went to 72 for avenging wrath , and all was good till patch 5.3 with BG gear scaling. my 72 even with avenging wrath ability is now weaker than my 70 pal when in a BG, and only stronger out of a BG.
