6.2.2 patch notes

  • The feral and priest "nerfs" do not amount to much. 10% buff then a 10% nerf in PvP. They will still be essentially the same.
Horde racials will be pretty HUGE.
Have we confirmed if the Mercenary Mode works at lowbie levels?

i agree that the "nerf" wont make ferals any less aids, but its still a nerf ( rip/rake right now is 100%, in 6.2.2 it will be 80% (of the current dmg) in pvp and 120% in pve (same for spriests)

    I don't think you understand.
    20% buffed = 120 it is now
Then a 20% debuff in PvP after that 20% overall buff.
It will be approximately what it is now. They are not the nerfs they appear to be.

Blizzard is trying to balance PvE while trying to keep PvP balanced at endgame.

if they nerf (in pvp) the feral dots right after the buff in general its a 4% nerf, for sps its a 1% nerf

if they simply nerf the current damage in pvp regardless of the general buff its a 20% feral dot nerf and a 10% sp nerf

Still deciding if i want to just go ahead and buy the agility sword from the DMF when it rolls around or save it and get the caster staff for my horde mage. I'm more excited about merc mode. Please, shorter queues, especially for horde. 12 minutes on a weekend is insane.

lets just talk about how war stomp will be a 3 second stun. An aoe 3 second stun.

It's okay, it's not like prot warriors at low leveles were ever op or anything.
