So this is a thing, havnt touched twinks in a while, but got it today, mailed it to my level 1 and was able to equip it (and gained the armor if anyones interested), figured id share, HF.

This and common legion blade make a great combo. That or sunstrider axe.

All the gear that the Chess event dropped in the tbc Karazhan now drops as gray ilvl 500 items in the new version.

from what i've seen they will be equipped.
