Might be thinking about this the wrong way but hear me out...

In a bracket where extra hit rating through enchants isn't a thing, we miss a lot.

+5 axe skill from Orc https://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=20574/axe-specialization
+5 bow skill for Trolls https://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=26290/bow-specialization
+5 sword skill for Human https://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=20597/sword-specialization
+5 mace skill for Human https://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=20864/mace-specialization
+5 gun skill for Dwarf https://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=20595/gun-specialization

Is there a chance these races also have a decent place in the meta even though ease of jumps due to character hit boxes or other racials ( https://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=7744/will-of-the-forsaken, https://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=20549/war-stomp, https://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=20589/escape-artist) tend to stand a lot taller in perceived value?

I guess the next part of the conversation really is uptime on a target, either you're A) making the most of the little uptime you have on a target with the extra weapon skill because you have no way to get out of things like Fear with https://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=7744/will-of-the-forsaken, or a slow with https://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=20589/escape-artist. or B) you're able to increase uptime on a target even though you may miss a few more times.

Idk I'm bored and I made both a 19 orc and an undead warrior, just trying to justify my time spent on the orc even though RNG was cool to me on my UD (LFH first week) ;)

I can't remember if weapon skill / increased racial weapon skill affects anything in instanced pvp, it might affect crit chance slightly. Will of the Forsaken definitely makes the difference between your characters large enough to feel the superiority. If it helps at all, the jump models for female orc (assuming you went female) and female undead are almost equal, being able to do the same fence slips etc. Something else that makes orc at least worthwhile is the 25% stun resistance. Being less prone to getting taken out of the play through bombs / hammer of justices / charges is pretty nifty. It all comes down to a matter of preference. WotF is just disgustingly strong because Priest fears can't be dispelled by another priest, only removable through trinkets / racials / tremor totem. Sorry for the lack of information regarding weapon skill, but hopefully was able to at least add some copium for the orc side.

Well I do have both so... that's pretty cool. I do think I'm gunna build them completely different though, I also went male orc so, rip.
I thought it effected endgame pvp hit so I'm assuming it'll do the same here, idk we'll see.

Pretty sure weapon skill got maxed when in an instance in Vanilla.
