Still not allowed to start threads so I guess I'll have to put this info here.

So basically, I went on the PTR and tested out the scaling on Lord Blastington's scope of doom, Currently, the tooltip reads that it procs for 68 agility on my 24 hunter. Unfortunately, it seemed to be bugged on the PTR and wasn't proccing at all but from my experience at 90, I'd say this procs roughly every 20 seconds. (The buff lasts for 10)

Dancing Steel will likely proc for about 60 agility. keep in mind that you can have 2 of these buffs simultaneously. Rogues will likely see big eviscerates but very few big ambushes since the proc won't happen until after they've opened. From my experience at 90 I'd say rogues can expect to almost always have at least one of these procs up at all times in the middle of a fight. Probably not going to be as consistent at low level however.

Frankly, I don't care enough to go test out a ton of enchants on the PTR and see the exact numbers they scale to, but my educated guess is that P2P accounts will be able to get enchants that are about twice as good as the current BiS enchants. so instead of +9 agi to feet around +18

But who knows, I'm just going to wait until patch day to find out.

We should be happy that boomkins don't have Shooting stars at level 24....

Hunter

General
  • Arcane Shot had its damage and focus cost increased by 50%.
  • Counter Shot is now a baseline interrupt ability learned by all Hunters at level 22.
  • Deterrence now has 2 charges.
  • Disengage now has 2 charges.
  • Explosive Trap had its overall damage decreased by 30%. Proportionately, more damage has been removed from the initial damage than the periodic effect.
  • Hunter's Mark now has a duration of 20 seconds while in PvP combat (down from 30 seconds).
  • Readiness has been removed.
  • Revive Pet no longer requires the Hunter to have line-of-sight to their pet.
  • Stampede damage dealt by pets when the ability is used outside of an Arena or Battleground is no longer reduced by 75%
Talents
  • Aspect of the Iron Hawk now reduces all damage taken by 10%, down from 15%.
  • Narrow Escape's root effect is now a nature spell (was a physical spell).
  • Silencing Shot is no longer a talent and is now an ability that replaces Counter Shot for Marksman Hunters.
  • Spirit Bond now regenerates 3% of total health every 2 seconds while the Hunter's pet is active (up from 2%).
  • Wyvern Sting now has a range of 40 yards (up from 35 yards).
 
I am hoping that before the PTR cycle is over they get this right and scale enchants by bracket rather than expac! Games are pretty good now with the level and gear scaling. However with the way enchants are now on the PTR, this bracket will be more broken than cata
 
currently, disengage isn't going to have 2 charges, that's misinfo on mmo-champion, although I do hope hunters get a 2nd charge of disengage, they're going to need it at max level next patch. right now you can disengage out of combat, and they removed the "disengages from combat" part of the tooltip, so that would be nice.
 
24s gonna be so dumb with scaling chants in 5.4 :D

i went on the ptr long before that was posted and got the info, then came here and made an account but it wouldn't let me create a thread. came back a few weeks later, still couldn't create a thread, and picked a random relevant thread to post in, didn't even read it. obviously its funny that I posted that info 2 posts down from that comprehensive spreadsheet, but clearly you were making fun of that so don't even try and play it off as sincere lmao.
