Bonuses from level 600 professions were gutted by 90% for level 80s so 480 crit rating turns into 48, 500 to bracers turns into 50, etc.

To get the best out of the profession perks, you have to relearn it and skill it up to the first rank and not more than 489. The reason is quite simple, the wotlk-perk is better than the cata one and the cata-perk is better than the mop-perk. (Gathering perks are different, 450 is enough to get it maximized)

e.g. tailoring @80
skill 420 -> 295int proc
skill 500 -> 232int proc
skill 550 -> 200int proc

or leatherworking
skill 400 -> 57int bracers
skill 490 -> 52int bracers
skill 575 -> 50int bracers

And doing a lightweave embroidery from an alt with that specifiq skill lvl on tailoring while your twink has skill lvl 550+.on tailoring?

Well, you could if you had a boa item piece, used to be an exploit. My 44 twink priest had 2k lightweave procs :d but its been fixed tough this method could work for lower proffesion skill lvl perks.
