Legend
It doesn't really seem that much of a surprise that blizzard has already released the 1st set of patch notes for the PTR which is expected to open very soon. We can use this thread to list and discuss all relevant changes that affect the f2p bracket.

Priest
(24)

Power Word: Fortitude had its mana cost reduced to 1%, down from 4.4%.

PVP

All characters now have a base Resilience of 65%.

Resilience has been removed from most PvP gear.

Battlegrounds, Rated Battlegrounds, and Arenas now have an ilevel cap. All gear will be scaled down to ilevel 496.

More info coming soon...

The resiliene changes seem pretty good, I would suspect that resilience will most likely still be on heirloom gear rather than taken off completely. Since we don't have much pvp gear at this level we can assume those notes mostly apply to the Malevolent and Tyrannical gladiator gear that is important to end game pvp as well as 60,70 and 80 pvp gear.

The ilvl cap for bgs seems pretty interesting, although based on the patch notes so far this might only apply to end game pvp, time will tell soon enough.

Your thoughts and opinions?

There is a thread on this already, but I would rather have you lead this thread discussion rather than someone completely abrasive to other posters.

Seems like at the moment the only pvp change that affects any low level class is Prot warrior, which is just a slight change to taunt. Anything else (class pvp changes)

I can tell pvp at level 90 is going to become shit, thank god I have pve gear.

I hope they will make f2p shadow priests playable, like shadowform or at least mind blast at 20

One can dream...

"All characters now have a base Resilience of 65%." HAHAHHA stupid, 10 twink will hit 100% resil.

Didn't even notice it at the bottom of the 1st page, but feel free to post your opinions anyway if you'd like.

Mialo feel free to close this if you'd like.
Closed upon request.
