Actually it's possible to play Warsong Gulch as Wargames (it works). Just use /wg groupleadername mapname. We're still 20, but base stats/hp/mana/crit/hit/heirlooms scale to 24. Cannot wear 21-24 gear and we don't get 21-24 abilities.

So you actually got into a wsg as a 20?

Oh no. Oh God, no. My worst nightmare. If we're still 20, then... I STILL WON'T BE ABLE TO CAST DOMINATE MIND ON 24's.

Or do they scale SPELLS up as well? Did you see? I know that spells do more damage as you level up. Maybe DM will be considered a level 24 spell on my 20 and will be useable on 24s? : / I can only hope.

I haven't read all 17 pages of this thread but has anyone asked or mentioned anything about new gear sets? If F2Ps are raised to 24, will they be able to equip 24 twink gear like gnomer rings, Hotshot Pilot's gloves, ect?

The patch notes state 'effective level' and don't mention anything about the actual level being affected. I would presume level requirements will still apply on all gear.

They wont be able to equip higher level gear. No worries 24s youll still be able to faceroll nubs without any skills

Seems like they're working purely on cosmetics with the PTR updates that trickled down the last few days (essentially wrapping a gift) so I give it 4 more weeks at the most.
