5.2

Yeah, but it says Power Word: Solace will be replaced by a new spell, and THEN it says Holy Fire will be replaced by Power Word: Solace. As if Power Word: Solace will still exist instead of Holy Fire, and where Power Word: Solace used to be will be the new spell.

Or have you been on the PTR and actually know for certain?
Power Word: Solace is still a level 45 or so talent, they're changing it from its current form to replace holy fire. Holy Fire isn't going to change.

this sounds boring imo, if i wanted to be on par with a p2p i would be a p2p? i play f2p for the excitement of being at a disadvantage among other things. this could take a lot of the excitement away!

I don't think so. I like being and underdog just as much as the next guy, but I don't think this will take away any challenge from the f2p game. This will just bring more parity between 20s and 24s. In my mind, that means more fun for everybody. It's not that they still won't have a an big advantage in enchantments and spells, but the it's the fact that so much more of your damage, and cc, will get through to them. Meaning, you will score that big CC every time now instead of missing a good percentage them. To me, missing on a big CD is always not fun, failing due to pure RNG is not the sort of challenge I like.

The fix to hit will be the single most significant change since the advent of f2p WoW.

like Lil said crit haste resi may scale unfaroably (armor too), so that has an impact on balance beetween classes beucase in such case rogues/feral/hunts will lose relatively more; the question is IF BoA will scale up - wouldnt be surprised

I hope we'll get more pros then cons from 5.2 BG changes .

Btw Transmogrification rules have been broadened for several weapon types. Two-handed axes, maces, and swords can be Transmogrified to each other. One-handed axes, maces, and swords can be Transmogrified to each other. Staves and polearms can be transmogrified to each other. My toons will look even better now. ><

So no longer 24 rogs will be able to just sap lvl 20 rogs without actually thinking a bit.
Lets hope so.

Does it applies to main hand to one hand items?! I mean Bloodsoaked Skullforge Reaver mogged into THE AWESOME Broadaxe of the Horde

If you want a challenge play end-game random BG's. Where over half your team consists of bots.

About lvl scaling, I'm not sure if it's going to work well at all. I mean secondary stats like hit, crit, haste. Blizz has shown time and time again their incompetence in balancing them; consider 10s viability in 10-14 bracket or the recent paladin mastery fiasco at 80. I'm afraid that whatever system Blizz will put in place to implement this lvl and stat scaling, the effects will be somewhere between underwhelimg and disastrous.

Hope will never die.
I am a believer.
They will do a decent scaling!
If your doom-sayings come true though... No, I don't even want to contemplate the possibilities.
