5.2 BGs! Balanced or Ruined?

Certain brackets it's absolutely ruined. 80-84 was already broken beyond repair. It was already completely dependent on gold sink twinks.

I haven't done 70's but I know you lose like a couple points of resilience for every level beyond 70 you go (Found this out leveling my druid normally as a "budget" honor twink.) so 70's really isn't that broken. 60's I can see similarly. They still have T2 very rarely T3 set bonuses to work with but now BC gem geared twinks are more useful. 85's are again SOL as resilience from 85-89 is blown out of the water.

Honestly I know why they did it. There really is a huge disparity between fighting a geared 85 and 89 to the point where the 89 wins on health pool alone much of the time.

However people that stacked resilience at 70, 80 and 85 are now SOL because of these changes. As in past patches twinks overcome, adapt and figure out how to thrive.

The problem is many people have such picture perfect 60, 70 and 85's that they don't want to "break" their work.

I loved pvping on my 80 resil stacked warr and part of the experience was dueling lvl 80-89 in durotar. Now it's either level to 84 to enjoy battlegrounds or stay 80 and enjoy duels...
U guys think these changes are permanent? Are you already leveling to 84 and 89?

Have to agree with splosion here, as resil becomes more effective at higher levels.
Resil doesn't only decrease damage you take, it almost works the same as making heals "more" effective.
If you have 30k hp with 90% resil and you get healed for 5k, it has a higher effective value than on less resil, since it would take more damage to bring your hp down.


Increasing resil from 40 to 41% would effectively reduce damage by 1/60th, though if you had 80% and added 1%, it would reduce your damage by 1/20th, making it 3 times as effective.

Haha, will not argue here, but after my experience in this bracket. I find my gear choise the best for me.
But I dont think you can reach as high as 90% + anymore... looks like I miss around 3% resi from last patch.
Anyone else experiencing the same?
 
I think it's great and bad at the same time , When i was 84 as Boomkin I could easily go 40-0 + from GY camping just popping Moonfire but it gets old . Now since every thing is balanced it take's more skill and less " BIS Panda " Gear . Being a 2200 + Player every season at level cap's i like when its hard to play because it makes it interesting .

Overall i think its just Blizzard's attempt to get people to play level cap.
