5.2 Arena experiences

Hey guys,

So being the lazy shit that i am i never actually read the patchnotes and am figuring things out as they come along (hello fade nerf). Anyways i did about 10 arenas, and i've noticed a few things.
Rogues do damage now apparently, i played with and against rogues a few times. They can put out quite a bit of damage, though i don't know just how viable they are.

Hunters however are clearly viable now. I met a hunter team twice, they played survival disc. Lost when i played with a rogue, the distrubing thing was my rogue mate ate traps but just died in the scatter. Won as disc prot, but still took a lot of damage, they definitely had kill opportunities.

So the point of this thread is basicly, what are your experiences and whats viable now? Hunters took me by surprise and i'm wondering what other viable classes/specs are around.
 
Every single class/spec is viable with a disc.
Good rogues are amazingly hard teamed with a good disc.
Prot paladins are just as op as always
Prot warriors are now making a comeback.. just you wait and see one in the arena.
Incase you didn't know, disc shields can now crit now, reinforcing the need for dispellers in the team ~ inc 19k shield absorbs.
Shadow priests seem like they havn't been nerfed at all.. still insane 6k initial crits and then a massive burst damage with 3 dots and mindflay doing twice as much damage for the duration.
 
Hunters have been sick since forever
 
Think 70 is overall more balanced, Sp's been nerfed slightly which has made a big difference, Rogues doing nice damage now and with prep baseline they have more than enough utility, Prot paladins are still the same and doing retarded damage out of nowhere, Mages doing sick damage now as frost. Think all classes are good if played right I'd say dk's are the worst class to twink atm, Also boomkins are killable quite easily now since displacer has been changed.

Won as disc prot

nah i just dinged 90 on my rogue. more fun to kill healers in garrote kidney than do 1k starsurge at resistacking healers :<

to answer your post odyne, i think most classes are viable now except dk's. best comp in my opinion is still rsham/spriest and disc/prot (even stronger now). struggled some against disc/rogue actually so I suppose that is not too bad now either. but i bet most people agree with me when i say that no comp should beat disc/prot atm.
