after 24 attempts, Baron Rivendare dropped his mount for my 49 twink (world first?).
the runs weren't too bad - i used a DK on a separate account and got it so that i was killing him every 18-20 minutes.
tip: in the last room, clear all but one of the abominations. then set your twink to follow the 80. drag the last abomination to the door of Baron's building and kill him. when the door opens and big abomination boss comes out, run into the building (your twink still on follow). after you kill him and the 4 guards that spawn after he dies - you can go in and kill the Baron without having to wait for each phase before it allows you to fight him.
