49 Hunter Build?

Would prolly play SV or MM. At 44 now, enough time to gear? Just need a mostly BiS gearlist, and if any items are really rare some alternative options. Thanks!
 
You'll be spending some time in Mara and perhaps ST/BRD, but 5 levels should be enough to get your stuff. Otherwise, get the last when you can lock your xp :>



Head: Bloomsprout Headpiece/Helm of Fire

Neck: WSG one/Medal of Courage

Shoulder: BoA/Phytoskin Spaulders/Rockshard Pauldrons

Cloak: Grovekeeper's Drape

Chest: Honorguard Chestpiece (horde)/Atal'ai Chestpiece/Fungus Shroud Armor/BoA in 3.2

Bracer: Windtalker's Wristguards/Bracers of the Stone Princess

Belt: AB one

Leg: Searingscale Leggings/Dragonstrike Leggings (LW only)/Basilisk Hide Pants

Feet: AB ones/Cave Crawler's Mail Treads (horde)/Bloodshot Greaves

Rings: Aquamarine Signet/Blackstone Ring

Trinket: Rune of the Guard Captain (horde)/Lots others.

1h melee weapons: Ribsplitter/Enchanted Azsharite Felbane Sword/Dagger (w. Superior Potency or Accuracy enchant, horde only)

2h melee weapons:Grim'lok's Charge/Enchanted Azsharite Felbane Staff (w. Massacre enchant, horde only)

Ranged weapon: Verdant Keeper's Aim/BoA bow/gun
 
You know I had a whole list planned out but it depends on what play style you are going for. if you like to have more stam then wowhead gear for more stam. but for legs I would use Blackstorm Leggings over anything else, get creative my friend has a stam build on his hunter reaching over 5k buffed, My hunter at 49 with a survival/MM build had 1100 rap self buffed. Just do your homework research gear/builds that you want to play and have fun. If you want a "lolfaceroll" build 19's that way <------------

edit: If you do armory my twink and see the boa with scryer exalted enchant it's unusable till level 70 i share the shoulders with another toon I'm leveling.



also, for trinkets I would get agm, tidal, alliance, and mark of the chosen.

it depends on what you are doing. I have never enjoyed a full MM build but my 2 suggestions are,



full BM if you feel like raping people every 2 mins but imo its kinda lame.

Awesome build.. i really cant think of a reason not to go this spec. you get a ton of crit, aimed shot, LnL, more stam, and a TON of AP, some of the points are up to preference but the end talents on each end are very necessary imo. Entrapment and being able to arcane shot 3x in a row + aimed is pretty much a guaranteed kill on anyone. having scatter is invaluable aswell. I wouldnt consider respeccing for anything.

Are you horde or alliance? theres a good bit of Horde only gear thats among BiS options for Horde hunters.

all i know basically is full BM, full MM, or MM/SV mix (like mentioned above)



BM=lol pet does a lot and you'll get bashed on forums for being a red pet noob. if you dont mind the loling b/c u destroy certain ppl/classes than by all means do it



MM= meh. trueshot aura? ok....



MM/SV= best. entrapment, aimed shot...so many good talents and can still showcase skill unlike full BM. very strong spec and people will respect/fear you when you roll in after awhile (opposed to full BM when people will only do that when beastial wrath is off cd)
 
Race: Night Elf, Shadowmeld is incredibly useful. Stoneform has been pretty much nerfed to a shell of it's former self and the 1% crit doesn't really make a huge difference.
