49 Bracket

Hows the 49 bracket, any good? And any suggestions for class picks

I would say the 49 bracket is as close to balanced as lower brackets go. You avoid the spam of DKs here, and you have a fairly balanced group of people. We aren't the largest bracket as compared to 19s, but class balance is fairly good. It's a fairly bursty barcket in terms of damage, but healing classes are quite durable, and it's a challenge.

49's always have been and continue to be my favorite bracket. No class is unbeatable though some specs and classes can be very annoying (BM Hunters) if played well and properly geared.



Make sure you find a server/battlegroup with an active population to run with/against - that is the only way to become very effective.

I'd go w/ Shaman - at 49 it is WoW's version of GODMODE and you don't need a Game Genie!

It's a very bursty and unforgiving bracket. BM Hunters, Rogues, Ret Paladins, Enhancement Shamans can dish out a lot of damage in a very short period of time without any effort what-so-ever.



I've only been here for a couple months, I love my Moonkin but there are times I just want to pull my hair out. Enhancement Shamans will kill me in seconds, even in Moonkin form. There's a rogue in my Battle group that will do a Cheap Shot -> dps -> Vanish -> Cheap Shot -> dps -> Kidney Shot rotation, and I'm at less than 30% hp when the kidney wears off and I'm FINALLY not stunned but it's nearly impossible for me to recover from it. This is with Barkskin up and in Moonkin Form.



If you like big crazy friggin' damage and crits, this is the bracket for you.
