  • Hello

someone who know what gear and specc i should have .. so if you have any link or if you can make a list on gear and speccs =)

    Thanks in advanc

What kind of prot are you planning on playing? Offensive or FCing? Both? :p

FCing .. or both i want to make some damage and run with the flag =)

but i cant find anything to help me find the best gear and the best specc

Well everything is very new right now and gear choices are slightly difficult to come by and decide.

My best recommendation to get you started is to go onto Wowhead: If you are reading this, stop pressing F5. to start searching for gear. For FCing you will generally want Plate and Mail pieces. I usually go through the database and sort for everything under item level 60. This will give you a large amount of things to start choosing from. I've seen some highly geared Prot Pallys, but not as many Warriors atm. I'll look at the BG forums and try to find some Warriors for you.

Okey .. i would love that.. everything that can help are welcome =P . i have been on google for like 2H now and i havent found anything to help me :S

One the main page of WoWhead, scroll over Database -> Items and then find what you need from there.

i get it.. hehe .. but now its hard to chose the best of them =P i can link here and you can tell me what you think ?

    Sure thing.

For FC prot, you just want very high Stamina.

For Offensive Prot, you will want to gear offensively, so go for Strength/Stamina/Crit

Or is it bether you look and link the items you recomand ? if you have time =) hehe if you dont have it i can link the items i think =P

its my first time as warrior i dont know so much about them..

i am realy thankfull that you are helping me =) <3

There's quite a few I could recommend, but it's good to know how to do this research on your own. Start linking, and I'll see if I can find a better item for you :). This way you will learn ;D

Just going from the choices you listed, I would say:

    Helm of the Executioner

    Shriveled Troll Heart

    Wyrmslayer Spaulders

    Redoubt Cloak

    Skul's Cold Embrace

    Arena Vambraces/Gordok Bracers of Power

    Carapace Spine/Star of the Fool

    Aegis of Stormwind/Stoneshell Guard

Both of those rings and trinkets would work.

Lavawalker Greaves aren't *great*, but they'll do just fine.

Probably Leggings of Stratholme, but Earthforged Leggings will do just fine.

    Stonewall Girdle/Stalwart Clutch

    Death Grips

it's a bit confusing after the new patch, but you should know what your class needs in terms of stats.

I'm outta my league here, but I'll go as far as to say strength is the creme de la creme after stamina, as far as raw stats go. when it comes to avoidance ratings I'm not all that sure I'd rate them over crit if you want to dish out some damage as well, but this depends on the situation I guess..

typically you'll have people wanting to stab you in the back, but in a full fc nuke involving several healers you're gonna make more use of that avoidance, since you're doing more than the mid jump/strafe 180 degree turn hamstring/conc blow to slow down followers

no heirlooms. first cluster of gear is damage-oriented, and hit capped(37 hit rating), while the second has more focus on avoidance, I didn't exactly mix/match items to get highest stam gain
