4.0 Queues - 60 Bracket - Initial Observations

From what we can tell (myself and some guildies that were queueing tonight after 4.0 hit), they made some "changes" to the way capped accounts queue for BGs.



From our experience and observation, XP-off/XP Locked toon in addition too the Capped/Vanilla only accounts are receiving BG queues. Furthermore, there is a strong possibility that those two contingent cohorts are grouped together for battlegrounds.



Currently on Zul'jin (Ruin Battlegroup), there are 3 toons in AV at the 50-60 Bracket, and capped accounts have had (to my knowledge, as far as has been reported in guild) 0 luck getting into AV. We've played a few games successfully in WSG--unfortunately, those have been small games of 7ish or so per faction, but there was always a mix off XP-off and Capped who queue from our guild.



Anyone else experience the same?
 
I think you may be right. I was in the random BG que for about 2 hours on my 60 twink and still didnt get into a BG. Then I logged on my 52 hunter and got near instant ques. I think capped accounts at level 60 have officially been merged with the xp-off groups. Sneaky little Blizzard.
 
This means who play 60 twinks in random battlegroup (like me) not getting BG's anymore :3?
 
Yes, this is the case now. We now need to revive the old and new Xp-off 60 community. Our pvp is going to be like the 19 bracket now. But we have to adapt, why stop now, after we've come so far.

Once the Cataclysm BG merge comes, PvP will be insanely active and AV's will pop.



Btw, inb4 an only 60 twink dK guild..... It will happen, i can smell it.
 
now spread the word, let the bads who wanted to farm levelers leave but everyone else who twinked for fun and to test their twink needs to stay and needs to bring some old friends back to the party. did a few warsong gulch matches but the horde stopped queueing after getting owned over and over.
 
Twinking is now officially dead. I just canceled my vanilla subscription. Back to playing my main.

Well if they combined the XP-off battlegroups then we might be able to get some games going. At the current moment I cannot get into any BGs. Also, we cannot even queue for arenas anymore =(. So glad I didn't spend 15k gold on a mechano-hog =P.
 
For me, I didnt even notice it, last night I still got into 60-69 WSG and AB?? Maybe I am just lucky......? Maybe it was just yesterday but this morning maybe it changed, this is very bad.:(



THis just in I got into a random with normal players....weird...... :D



SECOND UPDATE PLEASE READ

My friend didnt get in to BG but I did...I think it is that if you have BC trial you can get in otherwise not really. I have BC trial on my account and he doesnt. So if my knowledge is correct you can do BG once every 3 months with non capped players........ LAME BLIZZARD!!!!!!!



I dont know if that is why or if it is bugged or soemthing I dont know. Just a speculation.
 
Good to know! I will probably reactivate when my TBC trial is off cooldown. Still need to get my damage control achievement in AV! =P One game I had over 360k damage done, but somehow not over 300k dealt to players =(.
