Made a pit stop in this bracket on my way to 59, as It seemed like a good bracket to pre-rank and farm up warsong rep. What I wasn’t expecting is how much I would like this bracket range.
What I have found that I really enjoy about it vs 39 bracket.
1. Everyone has mounts. And I know, no one has them at 39 so it would be just as fair right? Hunters because of that reason are forces to reckon with if played correctly. So much so that it almost ruins the bracket. At 49 when everyone has mounts, it levels off the curve.
2. Warriors are trash in 39 bracket. This is something that I can’t overlook, and I think was a huge park in why I disliked 39 bracket. Warrior class is not only the most played class in classic as it seems, but vital to a good wsg game. However they can not get moral strike which drastically evens out the 49 bracket. 39 druids will just breeze past most warriors and even if they do catch up, the couple of seconds of team burning isn’t enough to get the Druid down without that sweet MS. Warriors overall just become powerhouses once they get into 49 bracket, and rather lackluster in 39.
3. Healers! I could spend all day explaining the different reasons why healers are so much more rounded in 49 bracket but I’ll keep it short. Priests are just wayy better in this bracket than they are in 39. It seems like those 10 levels just of abilities and talents just open up huge windows for those. In 39 you will literally see just shadow priests, thus hurting the team because most druids want to carry flag. And thus creating a shortage of healers in 39 bracket. Again I could go on and on about how great priests are in this bracket, but let’s just say everything comes full circle for them in this bracket. All classes really.
I will be staying in this bracket for quite a while so get used to seeing me around. Hope this post doesn’t get backlash, it’s just my honest opinion.
