39 ret pally build

I hope you aren't making one just because they've become very powerful these days...?

No i'm not, planning on leveling my 19 pally, I have a 29 rogue, 29 druid, and 19 druid but i've always played mostly as a Flag carrier, I want to switch it up for awhile. I wanna try ret but will most likely go holy. So If anyone knows someone who has max gear for ret or holy let me know

No, that spec is not the best. Take the points out of eye for an eye and put them into divine purpose (Breaking a 5 point KS is so satisfying)



Take the points out of Sanctity of Battle and put them into crusade, 6% damage increase on everything is much better than just 15% on excorcism which does not stack with the glyph I believe.
 
2300hp and 700ap a joke? I don't think so. I didn't even look at her build, but she hits like a train. 10% crit cannot make up for 200AP. "OOO i have a POD". Granted you have better gear, but i would seriously advice you dropping your crit down to around 20-25% and upping your AP, it's too low for a ret. HP is also too low, definitely need those revelosh gloves of the monkey. My rogue would take you to bubble land in 1 stunlock. The paladins that are packing close to 3000 hp unbuffed are pure god mode in 3.1, stamina is the way to go.

Glyph and talent do stack. 15% is equal to about 100 extra damage on a crit so it is worth it (66 on a normal hit).

I'm sorry but any paladin that uses Nightblade is complete and utter fail in my opinion.

Nice to know about the glyph but im still not changing my spec.. excorsism is OP enough as it is.



And referring to your spec Vengance is worth it because its 3% usually all the time and its nice for those times when you go shield/sword when the 3 points in Two Handed specialization is wasted..
 
The Pally using nightblade in a sense is fail, but it must also be considered that their is less swing time between 2 hits, which in some situations will lead to greater burst. But yea, it is fail.

Its not really "burst" if you hit them more than once, it just means "more" dps and paladins need a slow swing speed for soc procs (I love my pacifier <333)

Purge generally isnt really a problem for me, I mean seals are no longer dispellable aaand thats the only buff you need as a paladin hahah.

Epeenadin does have some great dmg in BG's. Ran into him a few times and was quite impressed with his game.

to the guy who criticized my gear, i posted for my build, but i do have an AP set also.
