39 mut rogue weap chants

just curious whether or not it would be best to go 2x goose, 2x 20agi or goose MH + 20 agi OH for mut speced rogue



i plan on having chillwind dagger MH and stonevault shiv OH.

the key abilities of assassination are all deep down the tree, thus no 39 rogue specs mut right now. even combat is better than mut.

i could care less about your opinion of the spec, i didnt roll a rogue to ambush+evis, i enjoy playing specs that require more work

ambush + evis may be cheesy but it is currently the most effective way to open as a rogue in most scenarios.



look at the sub tree, you can't even put more than 9 points into sub without spending points in talents that buff ambush.

To actually answer your question, mut hits with both weapons so goose/goose is the way to go.

that actually comes as a surprise to me cus i honestly was expecting to hear 20/20 or goose/20. personally, i was figuring 20/20 for the extra mut dmg but i guess with proc normalizations goose/goose would be better



i was kind of hoping to see some numbers on the subject also, since i'm no good with the theorycrafting.

Look at it this way, goose/goose (well goose/weapon chain for PvP) is/was the best mut setup at 80. So if goose is better than 26 agi, it's definately better than 20. I don't have the patience to write out the math for you but goose averages out to more than 20 agi plus you get the added haste bonus. It does suffer from the downfall to all proc enchants however, RNG.
