Return from BFA, first tourney of Shadowlands.. Get excited 
The tournament teams are created via registration on the Challonge website. The link to which will be posted later on in the post. Anyone who's looking for a partner and wants to participate can use the Bnet community group, discord, and this forum to find someone.
Tournament Rules (subject to change):
-8 Teams, 16 people total (Subject to change based on participation; can get up to 16 teams. If this is the case, the tournament will have to be split between two days. Day two would be the day after)
Item Bans:
-No use of [Pendant of the Violet Eye] or [Meteorite Crystal]
-No use of the trinket Darkmoon Card: Twisting Nether
-No use of Dark Iron Pulverizer https://classic.wowhead.com/item=11608/dark-iron-pulverizer
-No use of Green Whelp Armor https://classic.wowhead.com/item=7375/green-whelp-armor
-No use of Horned Viking Helmet
-No use of https://www.wowhead.com/item=188415/essence-of-gossamer?bonus=6710#dropped-by
Other:
-BO5 up until the finals which will be a BO7
-The start of each bo5 and finals match will be played on Nagrand Arena.
-Only allowing comp swapping after a loss

-Loser of previous match picks the new map
-No double healer comp
-No spec stacking. Ie. No double MM Hunter, Fire Mage, Ret Pal, etc.
You are however, allowed to play different specs of the same class. Ie. Ret pal/holy pal, fire mage/frost mage. etc.
-First round will be a comp blind pick from each team
-Double elimination with a losers bracket
-To avoid the issue of dampening starting when the gates open (trust me, this bracket doesn't need dampening) we will be starting every match as a 3v3. Once inside, the extras who are not participating in the match will leave and the match will be played out as normal.
CHANGES FROM PREVIOUS TOURNAMENT:

Important: You are limited to two members to each team BUT NOT TWO CHARACTERS. If after a loss you or your teammate would like to change the comp you are playing you are allowed to do so. As long as the character being switched to is owned by one of the two team members.(yes this gives an advantage to multiclassers and may be subject to change but unlikely due to how badly some comps counter others). If/when a team loses, AND ONLY after a loss, they are allowed to switch to a different comp and map.
Rule Violations:
If, you are found to have violated any of these rules, it will be an automatic loss of the series. This includes POST MATCH. For instance, if the players or casters find that this was a violation after the match played out, it will still count as a loss for the team who violated the rule.
Disconnects:
In the event that a disconnect occurs, if the disconnect happened within the first 15 seconds of arena play, then the game will be reset and restarted. If this disconnect occurs after the 15 second mark then the team who disconnected will receive a loss. (Unless your teammate clutches a 2v1)
Prizes:
Due to the generous donations of both Paiid, Bray, and Pablo the prize pool for this event is the largest we've ever had.
1st place: 16 WoW tokens to your designated server, split between team members
2nd place: 12 WoW tokens to your designated server, split between team members
3rd place: 6 WoW tokens to your designated server, split between team members
4th place: 1 Wow Token
All teams who participate will get 100k split between team members
All of these are subject to change, and if you have questions, message either of them. I will give you their information on discord.
How to register:

Go to the "Participants" tab at the top of the screen --->Create a team name ---> Register!
Important: You only need to register 1 name for your team. Each individual does not need to sign up, only one person needs to register the team. Just make sure that I know who is on that team so that there is no confusion. Please message me on battle.net at Kane98#11747 with your team members and team name.
If you are having trouble finding it (I've gotten some messages that it is not showing for some people) please message me on my battle tag and I will register you.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A TEAM BEFORE YOU REGISTER, DO NOT REGISTER "SOLO" AND THEN LOOK FOR A TEAM MEMBER. I need to know teams, I will not be responsible for creating a team for you.
