29 Rogue Weapon Advice *horde*

Hello ive had a 29 rogue, i got the Bleeding Cresent axe with mongoose on it atm and i use Scouts Blade OH till i get a Vendetta and 15 agi chant OH always, i do got a Torturing Poker+15 agi for opening ambush depending on the situation. Any advice is the bleeding cresent is any good like lets say i open with a ambush switch to cresent and then do a gouge vanish and then cheap shot pray for a mongoose proc, cause bleeding cresent has pretty good damage but the bleed gets in the way of a gouge at times.

Any thoughts or advice on weapons?:confused::confused:

Help! =)

Get +5 Damage on Torturing Poker

Bleeding Crescent is bad. Don't use it.

Dagger: Torturing Poker +5 Damage MH / Vendetta (Scouts) 15 Agi OH

Sword: Zealot Blade +15 Agi (or LS) MH / Vendetta (Scouts) 15 Agi OH

or with BoA: Venerable Mass of Mcgowan +15 Agi (Or LS) MH / Vendetta (Scouts) 15 Agi OH

so the mongoose proc isnt even good for a offset? Lol, so your saying i spent 300g on some weapon thats not all that great >.<?

any other opinions?

Or, bare with me here, you could make a build based around backstab. You know, the one that gives regular 400+ hits out of stealth. Now on the other hand what seems to be getting popular is ambush builds. Ambush is fun and all, but unless you are spec'd into it you wont be doing a lot with it. And if you are spec'd into it that's all you have really. Yes, you have to be behind your target to use backstab. If that is a problem for you roll another class. Just my idea of the perfect rogue setup.

Mongoose is only good on [item]Windstorm Hammer[/item]. The item used to have an item level of 35 but blizzard changed it down to 34. This let a few people (myself included) with mongoose grandfathered onto the item.

In my opinion, the best combination of weapons is [item]Torturing Poker[/item] with [item]Scout's Blade[/item] or [item]Outlaw Sabre[/item] offhand.

TP is obviously the best MH dagger, but if you go sword, the weapons I listed above are the best. (Dal Rend is also very good),

Vendetta > Sharpened Scarlet Kris = Scouts > Heartseeker > Saber for OH

Edit: Mongoose is overrated.

o_O

Outlaw Sabre.. wtf.. bad dps, awful speed... only useful for an AP set..

Using a weapon just because it has 1.3 attack speed isn't worth gimping your dps when you could use a weapon that actually does damage.
