29 Paladin Help

Lost in Gnomer
Whaddup everyone,

I just level'd a Paladin to 29 and I decided to twink him. I want to make a Max Stamina Protadin set (because I can). However, since I've never played 29's before I really have no idea what is BiS and what is not. I made a set with items I found on Wowhead, but I don't know if there are better items out there.
My priority is Stam>all, so some of these items might be a bit perculiar, but they give max stam (afaik).
Here is the profile I made (Chardev is down for good so had to settle for WoWhead profiler). Note that the profiler wouldn't let me add 14 stam to shoulders and that the neck gives 10 stam and the Charged Gear gives 9 stam. I don't have acces to any GF'd items so don't bother listing those.

If anyone has any improvements please let me know!

Also, if someone could list some items/link an armory/give some advice for a balanced/dps set, that'd be great as well!

Thanks,

nice job. I can't help with improvements on your stam set. I wonder with the proposed changes to WoD whether armor may end up being more important than it is now, for example. This stam build is heavy on cloth and leather. It will be interesting to see how that works out.

I have been experimenting with stamina stacking as well but centered around heals. This may be in vain as the bracket may or may not be as bursty as it is now.
My conclusion, for me, is to try and stay as low level as possible and exploit the scaling advantage. I am going to have to "waste" at least one of my glowing magical bracers to find out how they scale at 26. Most of the prime abilities that the two classes that I prefer to heal with have nice abilities at level 26. After level 26 there is very little gear that is crucial for a stamina build. Once all this scaling and what not is figured out, delete the "test" character and make the real one at the desired level. This process may take me months to do. I don't have the time to devote to the game that a lot of players do. The time I spend playing in two weeks is equal to the time that some people spend in one day.
Good Luck on you paladin! Gearing up is half of the fun.

Missing your +14 Stam Shoulder Enchant.

Pendant of the Agate Shield

I'd imagine the loss of Stam. from picking up Boa Shoulders and Boa Chest would be made up with the mitigation you gain from the armor you gain in those 2 slots... maybe

You can't place +24 Stam (Glove Reinforcements) on BoP items unless you plan on dungeon glitching it...if you weren't aware.

I'd just consider the value of +1 or +2 stam on something when you are losing armor as well as any other forms of damage mitigation (dodge, parry = but those don't help against magic). If memory serves, strength also gives you additional block and not sure what else.

Depending on how secondary stats scale, crit is still very valuable just to be able to knock people out with Avenger's Shield.

Either way, we won't get to really play again til WoD's prepatch so hopefully more info will come out in beta.
