Jesus... if you want to put out some numbers instead of just fucking around with your incredibly fast, wet-noodle-like spells, I'd suggest you go for int. It scales better than secondary stats.

most mages will have a similar amount if not more haste than you because you stack so much crit, which I doubt scales better than int even with shatter

Which Mages have more haste? There are only two slots where it is arguably worthwhile, bracer and glove chants and gloves. The thing about haste is that by nature it synergies with better stats in that it makes better stats perform faster. There is no be all and all haste value that is necessary, it's whatever value is feels appropriate for the user. I'd argue gift haste chants are minimum amount for this. Crit scales better for reliable burst damage. I like to count on more reliable crits when executing a kill sequence.
Prior to the BOA stat switch from resil to haste, I was indeed full haste on belt/gloves/bracer/shoulder gear/chants.

yes obv haste is beneficial, you've been banging on about how good it is the whole thread but now we can use whatever we feel is appropriate
by definition crit isn't reliable, the only rational way of looking at it is to compare the math which I doubt is in favour of crit
imo the crit chance is high enough already on shatter and stacking crit is just overkill
No, I said gift of haste is mandatory, as are haste boas. Haste to bracer/glove/shoulder is your choice. I recommend crit.
You say it's "high enough". I prefer to brings it closer to guaranteed, especially with FoF doubling damage, 1.5xing crit. Additionally the synergy of crit with mark of the thunderlord makes the crit the right choice over SP.

double dmg is equally beneficial to crit and sp, just like the flat 50% crit increase on shatter
holy shock doubles crit chance and scales better with int
feeling like crit does more dmg isn't a valid reason to stack it, i cba to argue with someone who thinks otherwise

Double damage means I want guaranteed crits on my only burst. A limp dick non crit that hits a little harder doesn't get me kills. Until 33.33%, I'm not guaranteed crits that get me kills; and by prioritizing haste on Gift slots, I won't get there. I pick up a little more to get me closer.

Versatility ended up great dmg but not crits plus casting time for all specs wasnt gd at all.

you should get a new ring, the lorekeeper's ring isnt good at all, black widow band isnt good either with you current setup i'd go arcane if i was you. if you want to do damage dont play frost pretty much
Just got a new ring from DM which actually scales +8 int and +5 critical in arena/bg. You could say that is best for Fire i guess.
Could you explain why BW isnt gd for my current setup? Indeed arcane is nice for the build im now but trust me frost is also good too also now that we got +20% frostbolt and an increase to Ice lance damage of Fingers of Frost proc.
Again leme know how i could become better if possible

BW isnt good because it scales to the same intellect as the Heavy Silver Ring of Intellect or the Charged Gear of Intellect, and they dont give -6 stamina (when scaled) so yea you basicly loose 6 stamina for no reason
