29 FC druid chardev (non BoA)

I'm trying to find some good gear for a 20 FC druid non BoA, a lot of the gear I keep finding in armories is grandfathered.

btw, I'm looking to dualweild with furbolg medicine pouch, not a 2h staff.

Key stamina items would be:

Glowing Magical Bracers
Enduring Cap
Silver Lined Belt.
Harbinger Boots
Tumultuous Necklace of Stamina
Magician's Mantle
Vigorous Gloves of Stamina
leggings of the verdant oasis
AGM

I don't think there are enough gear options to make druid FCs as viable as prot paladins/warriors in this bracket.

A Druid DC is most certainly going to be viable played by the right person. Seeing as there are just PuGs happening, provided you were skilled, I'd imagine you would do fine. Viable yes. Optimal, no.

One of the biggest setbacks to druid FCing, is the fact that Resto becomes the more viable spec due to increased stamina in bear form, swiftmend, and the ability to root break from shifting. The other part is the lack of health pool. A good prot FC can reach about 4k hp buffed @ 29. It's incredibly difficult for a druid to get even close.

If you're trying to figure out what to do with a 29 druid, you can always play as feral DPS, boomkin, or even resto druid healing. I'd be curious to see a druid FC, but not surprised if it doesn't work out.

Yes, tried going resto myself just recently and switched for viability.

Granted, I only played a couple of games, managing to do decently a couple of times. However, when you can get killed in a cheap shot by a rogue while in bear form (no hots rolling) it's difficult to try and keep a FC up, let alone yourself.

Resto seemed more like an off heals anyways, so if you are thinking something of the sort boomkin seems to have a bit more to offer atm.

Edit: I've seen other druids do just fine, I just seem to not understand it very well.

Druids are really all about mobility. If you're opened on it's really a matter of shifting and getting away ASAP so you don't die. NE druids have a leg up with Smeld.
